We have been coming for years now here when we get a night without my daughter. Always a great time and the drinks are cheap comparatively to places around town. Pam and Mike do karaōke on Thursday, Friday and Saturdays, and sometimes there is a wait to sing, but it is so worth it. They always are friendly and really help to create a great ambiance about the place. I have done karaōke all over the USA and this is the best dive/karaōke bar I have ever been to. Sometimes it gets hot in the summer, but that is my only complaint. Love this place and will be faithful for years to come..

What a great place! We have been coming here on weekends for several years. The change in ownership really breathed new life into this place. Great drinks, great customer service, and great karaōke! Try it, you will like it.

Yikes… Unfriendly bartender with an overbearing owner. Place was dead on a Monday and had no music playing when we showed up. We asked if they had an iPod to play so we could start some dancing, and they directed us to the pay-for-play juke box. Not exactly the type of service you would expect from a hole in the wall kind of place. Drinks are overpriced and the place is run down. Wouldn’t take a date here if they begged me. Check out the watering holes further down Abrams, like Lakewood Landing and 1st and 10 — much more worth your time and money.

This was the rudest I have ever been treated at any bar ever! So awkward! No music at all unless you pay them for the jukebox! The bar tender dropped several«f bombs» at us for asking if they played music… Avoid at all costs!

Quaint dive bar. Friendly bartenders, good music. They have karaōke and shuffle board. Nice little patio too. Prices are great! Definitely check it out.

When it comes to dive bars, we all look for that close, familiar warm feeling when we walk into one. This is it for me. I have been here a few times with some close friends even tho I don’t live in the area anymore, but almost every time I come back to town, I have to pay this place a visit. My friends come here almost every week and know pretty much everyone and everyone seems to know them. Especially when one of them can kill it at karaōke, it’s hard not to notice(very proud friend I must say: D). An interesting mixed crowd, the drinks are cheap, they have karaōke nights where you can witness and enjoy some real talents. What not to like? ;)

I used to love this place! Went there last night met the owner and his wife. Very nice people. But this evening wasn’t a very welcoming experience. Got shot done in the parking lot by the owner when I’m completely sober. Haven’t had anything to drink! Not cool guy! I wanted I have a drink with my buddies. Probably would have spent $ 200-$ 300 there. This guy was a total dick. His loss of revenue. Maybe could have shown my friends a good local hang out spot. Instead we went to Mariano’s. So long little bar!

This may be one of the best bars in Dallas! There’s so much going on here, it’s hard to mention it. And, if you have the courage to go in, you will be pleasantly surprised! Yes, from the outside you may think it’s a biker bar or a seedy place, but it’s one of the reasons«nostalgia» is in the name. Step back in time to an 80s dive bar. Nothing has changed. Pool, darts, shuffleboard, and the best Karaōke in the city!!! The crowd is super diverse – 20s to 60s on the weekends. You are sure to make new friends!

My favorite bar in town these days. Awesome karaōke on weekend nights, a great random mix of Dallasites, cheap drinks, games and clean bathrooms. It’s a really fun place to go out to with friends. It isn’t dark inside and it can be loud at times, so it isn’t romantic, but it’s definitely fun. They don’t serve food, but I think you can order pizza in or something. No table service and the bar staff isn’t warm, but who cares. The parking lot fills up, but you may park at the pharmacy next door.

Let’s just say that when you are looking for a place to drink and relax, this is the place. The owner and bartenders Chase and Amity are the best. It doesn’t matter if you are high class society or an everyday working joe; here you will be treated with respect. The people that are leaving three to one star reviews are pretty much pretentious and used to getting there way and are not use to being treated as an equal human beings.

This place is the real thing when it comes to dive bars. Don’t go during the day(this is not the place for happy day drinking), don’t ask what craft beers they have on tap. Just order what you see on the handles & enjoy the people watching. Not my personal choice of dive bars in the area, but I get why it has a following.

Don’t go here on karaōke night if you aren’t in with someone. It’s the DJ’s friend show. Regulars stay home.

If this was in a different part of town, it would be one of most popular dive bars in Dallas. Karaōke Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights is always a good time. Cheap drinks and good people. Shuffleboard and pool to entertain you if you’re not into karaōke. It’s not as shady as the intersection nearby, promise!

It was Halloween 2014, and I can’t really say that I remember what happened 30 minutes and 5 drinks after walking into this charming little hole in the wall karaōke/dive bar. All I can say is that I once told myself I would never take part in karaōke. Never say never when copious amounts of vodka is involved, my friends.

Wow, what a difference 15 years makes. That’s the last time I was here. It was a dive bar back then with a few locals and some irregulars that served good drinks and had a jukebox. I don’t know if last Friday night was the usual, because it was karaōke night, but it was crazy crowded. It was also a fun crowd. The drinks were good, not overpriced and service was pretty good considering the crowd around the bar.

Mike and Pam ‘s karaōke is top notch they really bring life to this Bar. The drinks aren’t over priced and all the staff if friendly. Come join the crowd. Sing, listen, dance, or just sit and unwind.

It’s time to get real. At some point in your life you must ask the question,“What/where is One Nostalgia Place.” You’ve never seen it before. Yes, you’ve seen Cocktails & Dancing– what does that place have to do with anything. Oh… it’s the same place? ironically– I’ve never had a cocktail here. I have seen some dancing, but not a ton. Karaōke is usually good. I liked one old guy regular who took the mic and sang from his stool at the bar. One time I chose to sing Me and Julio and it was a kind of shitty muzack version, which totally ruined the song. I mean my singing would have been terrible regardless, but I would have liked to enjoy the awesome percussion of the real song, but I was cheated. However, this was a guest kj company, so I don’t think this should be a problem on most visits. Speaking of the old guy regular he just might offer you some candy if you listen to his jokes. It just might be awesome.

This is the place that when you wake up the next morning you think to yourself«what the hell happened last night.» Then you spend the rest of the day on the couch nursing that incredibly painful hangover. So… basically, the best night of your life. It’s old. It’s stale. It’s awesome. Faux leather bar stools with backs on them, erotic video games, pool table, shuffleboard, karaōke, cheap/stiff drinks(for 6 drinks and 4 shots our bar tab was roughly $ 40 or so) and of course a great amazing crowd. You can’t smoke in here(only outside), but you could tell back in the day it must have been a cloud inside. Bartenders are super fun and the patrons are amazing. It’s a dive, it’s jolly… its fun! It’s off Abrams & Skillman(enough said), if you’re not looking for it, you’ll miss it. Literally comes out of nowhere. Parking sucks, so just look around you’ll eventually find something. The perfect place to end your crazy night or to take said night to the next level. #drunk
