Customer service is top notch. They order items just for me and will call me to let me know when the items have arrived. Want to sample a new type of Cat food? They’ve got samples! Have you ever tried to find a cat groomer? It’s not easy. But they groom my cat every three months and do a great job.

I love this shop for its good customer service and amazing pet supplies. My little Zooey and Cortana love the dog food, toys and little outfits they carry
I also had my Zooey groomed here and she came out absolutely fantastic she’s never looked so good after a grooming. And i will definitely be coming back keep up the good work guys.

Today was my first appt for my English cocker spaniel! I showed them a picture of how I wanted his cut and they did a superb job. Highly satisfied. But I thought $ 59 was high. But well worth it!
I went in yesterday and again super highly satisfied. Benny smells so good and is so soft. His cut is exactly what I asked for. Thank you so much to the staff there! Excellent customer service. :)

Oak Clips has been my pet supply shop ever since I was converted from feeding my dogs ‘filler food’.
They are healthy and happy and my wallet loves their prices. Check out the variety and ask for help selecting the best food for your pet. Their sales staff is top notch!

My chihuahua has gone here about five times to have a full grooming service. They put a cute bandana on her every time and her fur is soft and her nails look great. The staff is friendly and they helped bring my dog to my car because my hands were full. When I first tried to contact them a little over a year ago I had a hard time because it seemed like every time I called no one answered the phone, but that doesn’t happen anymore. They answer the phone, they provide a
good service, and the price is good.

Very disappointed they’re usually better. They did an uneven job on my pet. I’m a hairstylist and had to fix the patches they left long at home. Not to mention this was the first time EVER in 3 years since she’s been getting groomed, that there’s been an «accident».They clipped the top of her ear she bled all day after that. Bad service my dog hates them.

I had my dog groomed here in July and they were great, the second time was a whole different story. They did not tell me they had injured my dog until after I had paid. Once they brought him out I was very upset.
They had injured my dog’s paw when trying to clip his nails. Somehow, one of his nails got completely bent back and was bleeding a lot. I was very upset about the situation and they did not seem too concerned about it at all.
First, they should have called me as soon as he was injured. Second, they should have told me before I paid, about the problem. Needless to say, I will not go back.

Friendly staff, reasonable prices, and they consistently groom my pup the exact way I ask. They also have a great selection of organic treats and foods that might otherwise be difficult to find. Even when I moved away, I kept bringing my girl here. Love them! Support local business!

So I had my dog groomed here last week; at the same time they flea dipped her. The hair cut was good and the price reasonable but the follow up is where it gets bad.
She had fleas when we left but I assumed they would die within a day. Not so much, a week later I called and asked for her to be redipped. The girl on the phone got a little defensive saying it wasn’t a preventative; I know that but I’m pretty sure the shop is where she got infested.
I dropped Charly off and asked for any tips to get rid of the fleas in my apartment. She leads me to the back and shows the can of Raid Flea Killer they use. She goes on to tell me that it’s even safe to spray directly on the dogs. Just don’t get it in their eyes… I thought that was odd but didn’t question it. If you read the label, which I did while shopping for products to treat my apartment, it clearly states that is a skin irritant and to avoid direct contact with human or pet skin…
Upon returning to pick Charly up, she hands me a bill for $ 38. I asked why it was so much and she got quite agitated saying she explained that this was their most basic service when all of the paper work was filled out initially. I was not present for that and I made that quite clear when I called to ask for her to be redipped. She rolled her eyes and went to process my payment. My boyfriend asked her not to roll her eyes. I’m quite confused as to how that interaction escalated the situation so quickly but she got an attitude and told us never to come back, went in the back got my dog and threw her on the floor. Came out and told us we didn’t know who we were messing with. I felt fairly threatened at this point and asked who that was exactly. She told me they had all of our information and she was calling the police.
Excuse me? I’m even more confused now. Who is she calling the police on?
She chases us out the door screaming, «You don’t know who you’re dealing with you dick in the booty ass bitches! Get the fuck out!» All while flipping us off and slamming the door.
We called a few minutes later to ask them to hang the harness and collar on the door that my dog had on when she was dropped off only to be informed that there would be police waiting on us to discuss the property damage.
Wtf?!?
The owners have completely dismissed any wrongdoing on their part claiming that since they are partially gay owned that they didn’t condone gay bashing. They still blamed us for the whole ordeal.
What could have been resolved very simply with a modest compromise turned into the definition of gay bashing.

I just picked up my dog Buckley from the new location off of Greenville Ave. I have nothing but good things to say. He wasn’t shaken up like he normally is when I pick him up from the groomers. They didn’t take the easy route and just shave him completely like other groomers have before. And there wasn’t any cuts on him at all. I have probably taken him to 7 different groomers in the 2 years I have had him and this is definitely going to be our new place. Staff is very friendly and the price is extremely reasonable for how pleased I am. They definitely exceeded my expectations.

The haircut was okay, but the customer service when we picked up our dog was SO RUDE. I felt like we were at the DMV.
We recently took in a relative’s dog who gets very snappy and scared in grooming situations, even at home. We had been putting off getting him groomed because we were very worried about how he would react with a stranger.
There were no problems when we took him — they explained that since some of his hair was matted (he’s a very fluffy poodle), there would be an extra charge. I filled out the paperwork and asked the lady at the front desk to please call the secondary number when he was ready since I had an afternoon meeting. She said it would not be an issue and circled the number.
When I finally got out of my meeting I realized I had a message from over an hour before saying the dog was ready to be picked up. I called back to ask why they didn’t call the secondary number, and that I was on my way. The lady just said oops, sorry. Having been so nervous to leave him, I felt awful that he had been waiting for over an hour to come home when I felt like I had arranged everything so that he could come home as soon as he was finished.
When we arrived to pick up our dog, it was like an entirely different place than the morning. Nobody greeted us when we came in and they were extremely unfriendly. I asked again about the secondary number, and the lady said my information was probably never put in the system. It wasn’t the end of the world, but I would’ve really appreciated an apology, an update on how our dog had been, or anything at all that made it seem like they cared even a little about our experience.
She told me the price, i handed her my card, and when I got the receipt it was charged $ 13 above what she had just told me before running my card. When I asked her why the price was different than what she had just said, she rudely said «they explained to you this morning that the matting would be an extra charge.» I let her know that yes, I had no problem paying the price, but I don’t think it’s right to tell me you’re about to run my card for a different amount. So she walked off.
Another lady came in, barely acknowledged us other than to grumpliy ask «which one of these is yours?» as she rummaged through the pile of leashes left on the counter.
Again, no sorry about the minsunderstandings, no thanks for coming, no update on the dog. His haircut was fine, but we’ll never take him back after the extremely rude customer service.

We have taken our 14 year old dog here many times for grooming and are always very pleased with the results. In the past, he’s been squeamish about being groomed but since we started taking him to Oak Clips he’s gotten much better about it. The owners are super nice, take great care of him and are patient and careful. We completely trust them with our little guy.
The shop is great too, tons of high quality food options, grooming supplies, treats, toys, leashes, etc. They just expanded and made the shop bigger so they have room for even more merchandise now.
Highly recommend these folks!

I am really happy with the grooming job at Oak Clips. I called them on Friday and they were able to take us on Sunday. And that’s a plus too; they’re open on Sunday! And since I’m not off is Saturdays, that helps a great deal. It was very clean an organized as well. My dog seemed happy! I will definitely go back!

Took our Yorkie mix for her first grooming. We know from the shelter where we got her that she’d been neglected and was a handful when being cleaned up. The Oak Clips groomer must have been so calm and good at her job. Molly was cute and happy when she came out.

took my buddy riley in there today. i was very specific as to how he was to be cut. he is a yorkie terrier mix, only twelve pounds. they do not listen and chose to cut him «their» way.
paid 45.00 for somthing that has to grow out.
definitely will not go back.

I have tried a few different groomers around Oak Cliff and am so very happy with Oak Clips! Our Australian Shepherd should be fairly easy to groom but so many places just don’t do a good job. Not only did they do a great job grooming her but when I pulled up they were playing with her and having fun!
I highly recommend Oak Clips!

I love this place, it’s the first place that cuts my dog hair in a way that makes her look even prettier than she already is! I know they treat her well while she’s there because she is excited to get in the shop when we go for her grooming appointment and I like going because everyone is friendly and I can buy dog food while I’m there too (hooray for saving a trip to the pet food store!). I don’t trust just anyone with my dog and I 100% trust the folks at Oak Clips to treat my dog Leeloo well while she’s there. Oak Clips gets The Leeloo Stamp of Approval!
