Big surprise! Came to the post office to find an employee arguing with a customer. Their «compromise» was that the employee would handle 10 letters and then go get back in line for each additional 10 letters. She had about 40 in total.
For all the time spent arguing back and forth with the customer and then getting the manager involved, all 40 letters could’ve been processed and everyone would’ve been happy. Instead, the line was ridiculous, the employee incorrectly processed the 10 letters and then had to remove the incorrect postage. As I was leaving, 3 postal employees were trying to figure out how to mail the letters.
