Great service! The gel nails normally last about 10 – 14 days and the next gen/​dip nails last normally 2 – 3 weeks.

First timer! I walked in and they seated me right away, offered something to drink, and got to business. Fresh pedi and the massage with it was great! They worked on my dip nails (lots of color choices) during the pedicure. While my nails were waiting to get the top coat, I was given about a 5 minute neck/​shoulder massage at no extra cost – love! The place is very clean and everyone was very friendly. I’ll be back for sure :)

The only place in Dallas I trust to do my nails. I have been coming since day one and I highly recommend you check it out. I have tried every nail salon in Dallas and this is the best and most consistent. I get NextGen and a gel pedicure every 2 – 3 weeks. It’s really hard to find a place that does NextGen well and I promise you won’t be disappointed here. They also have a great selection of colors to choose from.

This is definitely a hidden gem! The best nail salon I have EVER been to. Not only was the salon atmosphere very classy and not to mention the free beverages, management was beyond superb. I went in with my best friend to get my nails done and was considering coffin nails and the nails came out perfect! The look is very natural and the staff is welcoming & friendly. I have found my new nail salon and they have earned a very loyal customer.

I took some in-​laws to melrose spa for some pampering. I was not disappointed. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was lively. I will probably take them back to this salon when family or friends come into town to visit.

Nice salon, friendly staff, and loved that I didn’t have to wait when I walked in! They did a good job on my shellac manicure, but it all chipped off in only one week! The point of getting gel was to have it stay for a wedding the following weekend, but it chipped prior to the event. I was upset with the price due to the advertisement for 20% off on Monday to Thursday. When she told me it was going to be $ 35 for the gel manicure, I asked how that was with the 20% off. She then started talking really fast and saying random numbers like 16 and 18 regular, it didn’t make any sense at all. I went ahead and still got the manicure because I was already there, but I felt misled with the whole «20% off» bc a gel manicure is not normally $ 44. I will go back to my old salon next time, but this salon was clean and the workers were friendly!

I have had the pleasure of knowing the owner (Johnny) since he was down the street at Hollywood (15 years in the making). He has always done a wonderful job, as does everyone else at the salon! Friendly service, comp glass of wine, and always nice and clean! Would totally recommend Melrose Spa for any service you need!

The staff here is super friendly and recognize you if you are a repeat customer. Definitely worth five stars just for that! I’ve gotten multiple services here, but my most recent pedicure was truly amazing. It was the first time I had gotten a pedicure here and will not go anywhere else. The massage was extra long and just what I needed. I tried the cucumber package and am excited to try something different when I return!

They do an okay job, nothing special.
I’ve been here twice, once 3 weeks ago for a pedicure & a gel fill.
They charge an extra $ 5 just to take off your nail polish, no not gel, normal polish. (So annoying)
I like the 20% off happy hour but today I went in for a fill with gel and apparently they don’t do 20% off acrylics…
The last time I went in they did. I even check my receipt when I got home today to double check. I think that guy just played me & made me pay more. & it says «20% off service» not selected services. I won’t be going back not recommending anyone here for them trying to scam me. Not okay.

This is perfect. Very attention and not too busy. Looks like I’ve changed and this will be my new nail spa. Lavender pedi and power nail.

I have been getting my nails done here for about a year now. They are AMAZING! Clean and beautiful on the inside, great location (on Oak Lawn right off the tollway), and the best staff!
They provide you with a free neck massage, wine, and they always have great music playing. I always get a manicure with the «dip powder» and they usually last about 3 weeks. I am never disappointed and they are always so happy to see me when I arrive. I work with Gonny and he is the greatest. Him and his wife own the location and they both do an excellent job. The atmosphere is wonderful and it’s so relaxing going in after a long day at work:)
Also, if you go Monday-​Thursday, you receive 20% off the entire service! You never know how busy they’re going to be, so sometimes I call ahead and make an appointment. They do accept walk-​ins though!
I HIGHLY recommend this salon for manis, pedis, waxing, and massages.

I feel that I should mention that this is the first service that has wowed me enough to warrant a Unilocal review… who has time for that any way? Anyway… as others have mentioned, Johnny does an AMAZING job. Everything about Melrose Day Spa is beyond outstanding as far as the quality, price, and location. The only down side is that I wish they had a bigger selection of bright/​pastel/​glittery nexgen and gel colors. This however, is definitely not enough to stop me from coming back!

Johnny is the absolute best! He trimmed my 2 year olds nails for me after he finished my mani/​pedi. Full service and attention to detail !!

I went to Melrose a week ago on Sunday as a walk in… they were so friendly and did an amazing job on my nails. I will be going back to try the dipped nail later!

Johnny and his team do beautiful work. I’ve been a client for 5 plus years. Gel, ombré, nexgen, acrylic — you name it, I’ve had it, and I walk out feeling like a million bucks. Parking is great, rarely a wait, and prices are good, always fair. Color selection is some of the best I’ve seen. Space is adorable and super clean. I’ll never go anywhere else!

I can’t say enough great things about this wonderful gem of a nail salon tucked away in the heart of dallas.
I wanted to pamper my girlfriend one weekend but I did not want to take her to just any nail salon. So I Unilocaled it and found this wonderful place. They have a private parking lot which is fantastic if you know the oak lawn area. And when you enter everyone greats you with a sincere smile. There prices are by far the best you can get, considering you are at a upscale salon. The interior design is very modern and she felt pampered throughout our time there.
We were offered drinks and they talked to us like we were family and the personal touches they put into our experience will keep us coming forever.
As for the technical part of our experience my girlfriend got her hands and feet worked on. I asked her how she like it compared to all the other salons and she responded that she won’t go anywhere else. She loved how delicately they worked on her without feeling like she’s just another customer. They never rushed things to jump on someone else, they seem like they concentrate on you and only you.
My girlfriend has her nail polish on now for a couple weeks and there is no chips or peel. You can tell they know how to paint.
2^nd visit to salon. I’m so thankful for how they treated my girlfriend last time, we decided to comeback for more. Each time we visit it just gets better as we get to know everyone alot more, now it’s starting to feel like family. I recommend this place and I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Very nice people! Great services at a good price! I got a gel mani and pedi. They gave me good massages on me feet, hands and even shoulders! They moisturized and exfoliated my hands and feet well! Most places don’t. They just exfoliate or massage really quick. Nice people I felt really relaxed and welcomed. Love this place defiantly coming again when I pass by!

I’ve been going to Johnny for my acrylic-​gel nails and gel pedis for four years at Hollywood Nails. When I found out that he moved to his own salon (within walking distance of my house), I was ecstatic! I decided not to review Melrose Day Spa until I had been a few times. This is my fourth time here and it’s better than I had expected! Great music (which Hollywood was lacking), very clean, nice ambience, superb customer service… and Johnny. To be completely honest, I haven’t used any other techs here besides him, but that’s only because I’m super high maintenance. Giggle

I have been coming to this place for a while now and apparently something has changed. Unfortunately not for the good in this case. I used to come in on the weekdays to get a manicure/​pedicure and massage because of the great service and price. For 20% who wouldn’t want to come in, after all it is advertised on the windows out front and painted on the building. So I came in and had a seat as usual and they started my pedicure along with my three other friends who were getting the same done. One of my friends mentioned the 20% off and the ladies said it was not good today. ??? It’s Monday and the sign out front says 20%off services Mon-​Thurs. I believe I along with my friends just had some bait and switch. Anyway, as much as I like the place I’m sure not going to be returning here again especially with the false and misleading advertisement.

I followed Johnny, the new proprietor of Melrose, from the salon where he previously worked because he is so meticulous in his work. When Johnny does my gel nails, they last 3 weeks. No kidding. 3 weeks!
I’m almost afraid to recommend Johnny because I’m afraid his schedule will fill up. But I’m so proud of him getting his own place that I can barely contain my excitement.
I was at Melrose yesterday for the 2^nd time since Johnny took over, and I had to laugh when I went to choose a color for my pedicure — all of the bottles were perfectly arranged by color. Perfectly. That’s Johnny for you. His attention to detail is impeccable.
