History

Established in 2013.

Mathnasium of Lake Highlands has been making math math sense to hundreds of students in the Lake Highlands community since 2013. Our center is conveniently located on the NE corner of Royal and Abrams, next to Dallas Ballet and Starbucks. Our expert math staff cares about helping kids in our community improve and excel in math through our year-​round math instruction as well as summer-​only math programs. We’re also very community-​minded: Amy Caron is a member of the Lake Highlands Junior Women’s League and Freddie is a member of the Lake Highlands Exchange Club.

Business Owner

A Baylor University alumni, Amy Caron Halstead has a Bachelor’s degree in middle school math education and a Master’s degree in school counseling. Recently, she has pursued doctoral work in Educational Research. Amy Caron has been in education for 9 years teaching in Waco, TX, London, UK, and most recently, here in Dallas at Marsh Middle School. She grew up in Greenville, TX but is now a proud transplant into the Lake Highlands community and is excited to bring a love of math to the children of this community.
