Mathnasium instructors use our unique assessment process to determine (with great accuracy) exactly what each child knows and what they need to learn. Next, we

design a customized learning plan for teaching the concepts the student needs to master. It doesn’t stop there — our encouraging instructors continually check progress along the way to make sure kids truly understand and retain the concepts we’ve taught. The results are transformative — kids will see measurable changes in attitude, confidence, and school progress.

History

Established in 2014.

Mathnasium Lakewood was started on October 13^th of 2014 to provide effective supplemental Mathematics education for children in the East Dallas area.

Meet the Business Owner

Danny B.

Business Owner

Danny Brooks has lived in the Dallas area for over 40 years .He had a productive career in the Business Product industry with a national distributor and retired after 37 years. His accomplishments were centered on developing successful teams. As a mentor Danny excelled in both motivating and providing clear guidance. He has worked as both a trainer and national accounts manager.

After spending the past few years looking for opportunities outside the Corporate arena to use the skills developed over his career, he was contacted by Mathnasium about opening a center in the White Rock Lake area. He really liked the Mathnasium teaching philosophy and felt that the Lakewood community would benefit with such a resource.

Danny has always had a passion for math due to the mentorship of an extraordinary High School teacher that helped him make sense of Mathematics. He is excited to offer a fun and engaging environment for students to learn math in a way that makes sense to them.
