History

Established in 1948.

At the Dallas General Office of New York Life, our team of full-​time, professional agents has been serving the local community for over 65 years. Under the leadership of GM Richard Koehn, Sr., the Dallas Office officially opened for business on January 2, 1948. Shortly thereafter, offices were also opened in Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio, and two years later in Austin.

After many years of NYLife’s successful operation in Dallas, the Lone Star General Office was founded here as well. In 1981, the North Dallas General Office (GO) and the founding Dallas GO were merged, keeping the name Dallas GO. Following in 1989, the Lone Star General Office also merged with them to create the Dallas GO that we now have today.

For over 65 years in Dallas, we’ve enjoyed a rich heritage of serving our clients and our community. Every decision we make and every action we take has one overriding purpose: To be here when our customers need us. That is why we call ourselves The Company you Keep®

I am an Agent licensed to sell insurance through New York Life Insurance Company and may be licensed with various other independent unaffiliated insurance companies in the state of Texas. No insurance business may be conducted outside the states referenced.

I offer a variety of products and services that can help you meet a number of insurance and financial needs, including, but not limited to asset protection, legacy planning, college funding, retirement, and lifetime income strategies.
