A little gem hidden under a bridge. A little well-kept secret. Too bad I do not live in Dallas or this little café would become my second home. Peaceful, relaxing, quiet, very pleasant to the eyes, lots of places to charge your phone/computer, a variety of seating arrangements(stools, chairs, sofa, etc.). And their matcha latte! OMG! Perfect little green cup of joy!

Visited this place yesterday with my friends and the first thing I’d like to point out is that it was the cutest little coffee shop EVER. It had a nice sitting area outside, and when you walk inside, it was so roomy. Much roomier than you’d expect. We took awhile to decide what we want because it was our first time there, and there was a lot on the menu. I ended up going with the snickerdoodle latte(yes, snickerdoodle). There was only one guy behind the counter, so it was kind of slow, but that was not a problem. When my latte came out, it smelled AMAZING. Not going to lie, I didn’t expect it to smell so much like the actual cookie. We sat outside in the patio, since it was such great weather. The latte was great, nothing bad to say about it. I was just sad that I finished it too soon. I loved the atmosphere, the location was kind of hard to find at first, but it is worth trying if you love coffee/tea, and you love trying new places.

This is a fake coffee shop in a sea off office buildings with no other options. The coffee is so so for the price, the oatmeal is poor quality/taste and they do not have wifi. How does a coffee shop not have wifi? There are far better options in Dallas to have to suffer at this place.

I went here with a couple of friends and it was such a cute place! It’s within the Harwood community, the land of the oxes. If you walk around, you’ll see what I mean. It is tucked in between all these tall buildings and huge magnolia trees. Walking in was such an open environment, everything was roomy and spacious. The menu was simple and when we walked around to see the special, that’s what got to us. My friends got the Snickerdoodle latte, Rise and Shine Matcha iced latte, matcha latte with vanilla and I got the iced matcha latte with lavender. I tasted all of their drinks plus mine, of course, and they were all delicious! The baristas were really nice and explained the drinks to us ahead of time so we weren’t caught by surprised or anything. It’s a bit on the pricey side but I think it’s definitely worth your money. I wouldn’t mind coming here with a book to read or to just sit and catch up with my friends.

One of my favorite coffee shops! Took awhile to figure out parking but there is a garage that may look closed right next to it but just pull up and hit the button and the garage will open… there you go free parking! Anyways the day we went they had ran out of lavender so we couldn’t try what everyone has been raving about. But the pastries we got and coffee were amazing! Super cute coffee shop that I wish was my actual living room… a very welcoming feel to the shop on the inside. Great place to just have a snack and coffee with friends or to just go to study on your own. The outside looks like the coffee shops in France, absolutely love it! Will be visiting more frequently!

Like something straight out of a movie screen, this coffee shop is so Pinterest perfect and cozy that you can’t even believe that you’re actually in Dallas. The teal/robin’s egg blue color scheme is so aesthetically pleasing and soothing! I just ordered a black coffee, which wasn’t overly bitter or very strong(caffeine-wise, in my opinion). I would highly recommend bringing a friend or family from out of town if you want to show them this special gem that’s truly unlike the other coffee shops in Dallas. It’s a great place to catch up with them as well because the tables are well-spaced and not overcrowding the floor space. There’s bar seating, tables, couches, and outdoor seating so you could get some light reading or easy busy work done on your laptop wherever you prefer. Unfortunately, I don’t think this would be an ideal place to get REAL studying done. I didn’t see enough outlets(unless you have an extension cord to share), and the lighting is somewhat dim. I also found the seats too high relative to the table’s height so I felt myself hunching over while I took notes, which kind of bothered my back(or maybe I’m just old haha). And while parking is not too hard to find(there’s free side parking around the area), the signs did indicate a 2-hr limit. Because I’m paranoid like that, I moved my car down a spot just in case, which could be annoying to do if you’re planning to stay for a long time. The overall atmosphere of this place is really one-of-a-kind. This coffee shop is totally worth going to, so I can’t wait to be back!(Just not when I need to be productive.)

Love this place and all the ladies who barista here are adorable with great customer service. They really know how to make a great coffee, I have not had a bad cup since I have been coming here the last 2 months maybe 3 times a week. The shop is a little hidden(facing Harwood St. in-between Payne St. and Hunt St) you can park in the garage left of the shop if you’re facing it. Just push the button at the gate and it will open, no charge.

Nice little gem. This spot used to only be open on weekdays, but recently switched to a 7-day-week hours. I couldn’t be happier. They have the best flavored lattes in town and my girlfriend and I love to grab a drink and pastry here on the weekends.

I rarely take time to review places anymore, but I love this little coffee spot. It is beautifully decorated. The baristas are knowledgeable and chill. The music is good for working– pleasant and non-obtrusive. They have cool local art/gifts/cards around to peruse and the snack selection is good(very important to a hungry lady like myself). They have a great tea selection, too. This is my new go-to when I need to get work done on the weekends. The one thing I would add is secure wifi– it never hurts to have another level of protection from cyber criminals in this day and age.

Came to this little coffee shop this past weekend. Our experience was less than pleasurable. The floor plan is strange. When you walk in, you’re basically in a hall with chairs/barstools. You have to steer right to «enter» the coffee shop, where a large pole obstructs your view of the coffee bar. Couldn’t tell where we were supposed to order. There was live music, a little too loud. we couldn’t hear the barista or each other for that matter. They’ve painted the walls black, which makes the place look trendy if it was well light. Perhaps it was the time of the day we were there, but it seemed extremely dark for a super sunny day in Texas! It was also a little stuffy in there. Someone should’ve opened a window or two to their patio!

Cutest little coffee shop!(kind of hidden by the surrounding buildings) The atmosphere was very inviting, cozy, and laid back. Lots of tables and chairs for guests, also great wifi. Would be a great study place if I live in the area. Staff was friendly but they could smile a little more. I ordered a cappuccino and a latte and expected to be $ 10 or more but it was about $ 7! Cheaper than I had expected. Latte was sort of bitter, was not sweet as other places I’ve been to. But overall, love the place!

This coffee shop is a hidden gem in the city of Dallas! Once you see the exterior, you immediately feel like you’re in a sophisticated, cozy, French boutique. The interior is just as beautiful as the exterior and once you enter you will never want to leave. The coffee was very good and the barista even gave my boyfriend the bear design on his latte when he asked for it. If you don’t know what to get, I would try the lavender latte! Normally I wouldn’t like lavender flavored things because I think it tastes like soap, but I had some of my friends lavender latte and it was really good! The lavender was balanced out with some vanilla so it wasn’t too strong. The coffee shop has a soothing and peaceful ambiance that is perfect for a productive afternoon or a get together with close friends. There is free visitor parking nearby in a garage that is only a 1 – 2 minute walk from the place. I would definitely come here again to catch up with some friends or read a good book!

Hilarious. No customers. No waitstaff. No… food? That’s right. After 10 min I find a 20-something who says«can I help you?» I simply say«lunch?» And she says: Oh, today is kindofan off day. Usually we have food, but today we only have these two sandwiches that were made yesterday. Bye! Why/how is this place still open? Why/who is giving it good reviews? The cute little millennial and her friends?

This place is certainly tucked away, but it’s worth the work to get there. The space is excellent! Perfect for a quiet morning coffee, or for a chat with friends, or even to pull out your laptop and get some work done. The coffee was good, not exceptional, but certainly better than most places in Dallas. My only complaint would be parking in the mornings when stopping in for a coffee to go. All in all, this is a great spot!

This unassuming, rustic café is the perfect addition to the Harwood/Uptown area. Tucked away in a quiet alley, you can spot the turquoise shop front quickly. There’s ample seating and tables outdoors and indoors. Inside, imagine a mood lit, cozy, homegrown coffee shop that is perfect for catching up with an old friend or on some work. Ambience is quiet but not silent. There is a standard coffee menu, but I was actually drawn to the specials: lavender latte, white rose latte, cinnamon latte, lavender and toasted marshmallow latte. I love the special touches this place has. Think The Wild Detectives but less hipster and replace books/records with cards, candles, and local crafts for purchase. Oh, and the service was wonderful. The only downside is that it’s only open on the weekdays until 6 pm. If they opened on the weekends and later in the evening, I would give it 10 stars.

This is the kind of coffee shop discovery that warrants celebration. First, you can feel triumphant when you find it – hidden under an office building, tucked away on quiet Harwood street, its façade(at the time of this review) still under construction. But once you step inside, you realize what a true gem you’ve found. The décor is splendid. Turquoise, stone gray and black make up the color scheme here, and taken in with the wooden floors this gives the shop a cool, inviting tone. Light blue linen chairs and a gray couch are adorned with little pillows embroidered with sayings like«Just Be» and«I Love This Place». One wall, covered in racks of newspapers, is painted with the words«The World Is Yours». Shelves and tables are decorated with little potted succulents. There are both lounge areas and tables here, the tables filled with professionally dressed people working on laptops or chatting over lunch. The wall facing the street is actually a wall of glass doors, and as soon as the construction is finished I imagine it will open onto a beautiful patio on nice days. The service is incredibly friendly! The baristas greeted me like an old friend. And as soon as I mentioned that it was my first visit, they insisted on making me their favorite drink, on the house. They called it a «Black Adder»: 2% milk, vanilla, and espresso. The only catch is, you have to shoot it! I only spilled a little on my shirt. It was delicious. I asked about their baked goods, which looked fantastic; they get their cookies and cake pops from a local bakery, and their muffins and croissants are made in-house by their own baker(the baker from Marie Gabrielle… all the Harwood establishments are connected, of course). They don’t list their prices on their menu, which is a little odd, but I ordered an Iced Americano and found it to be comparable in price to most every Dallas coffee shop($ 3.25). In addition to serving great coffee, Magnolias Sous Le Pont sells greeting cards, soaps, candles, and the art on its walls. I took my drink to one of the little blue lounge chairs, perfect for curling up with a book. The background music was quite pleasant and the Americano was excellent. I wish that they were open on the weekends, but currently their hours are 7AM to 6PM Monday through Friday. Nevertheless, I may have found my favorite new coffee shop.

Magnolias has got to be the best coffee experience I have ever had in the DFW area. The décor, ambiance, and service is impeccable. The coffee is really good. I ordered my usual vanilla latte and the barista suggested a latte she came up with. I agreed to try it and was pleasantly surprised. She called it «I love you a latte». I would love to make this place a regular but they are hidden away in an office building with business hours. My only complaint is that they aren’t open on weekends.

New and hip, Magnolias is a hidden away gem with good coffee and friendly employees/owner. With a clean set up, it is a great place for conversations and studiers alike. Space/feel: Magnolias is hidden away inside a fancy office building. After getting through the big doors, you take the elevator down to level P2 to find this little coffee shop. The place opened just a month ago(at time of this review), so everything is very clean and tidy. There are many small tables, with a couch area in the back for group visits. Because the place is tucked away underground, there isn’t really an «outdoor» seating area and can get a tad dark at certain areas of the shop. Most places are well lit, though. Noise level wise, it’s pretty typical coffee shoppy. It’s got a killer soundtrack playing in the background at a good volume, so you never feel like you are at a rock concert. It can get a little loud when there are many people in the front chatting away. Coffee: I asked the barista at the counter to make me something they loved, turned out the man who made my drink was the owner, a gentleman named Dee(or so I heard). He was very friendly, and was pretty much always chatting with the guests and greeting all customers. He made me a cappuccino kind of drink, and I gotta say it was pretty good.(seen in photo). It was a tad sweet, but that’s what I like in drinks like that anyways. Service: As mentioned above, service here was pretty good. Workers are all very nice and helpful. Eager to chat and makes you feel like they want you here. Really top of the notch coffee place, I gotta try some other drinks/snacks on my next visit.

Another great coffee joint just recently opened in the Uptown area. It’s a nice quaint hide away place. However it’s a bit too hidden to find since it’s attached to one of the office buildings on N Hardwood. If you are looking for a point of reference, the coffee shop is a block north of Saint Ann and Mercat Bistro. Although I didn’t have time to sit and hanged out, I found the layout of the place has a cool vibe to it. The Barista was knowledgable and helpful. The way he made my coffee was not overly bitter with perfect amount of smoothness to it. It’s good to see so many independent coffee shops opening in the area. I certaintly love a good cup of coffee like how this place rolls.
