Specialties
We are a small team of worldly-foodie-cooks with varied experiences. Our philosophy is that the food and drink we provide should supplement the party not be the focus of it. The event exists for a reason and we want to accent that with food items specifically created for the affair.
Our catered food concept is simple: all food is fork, frill pick, or finger only. Our menus are customized to each party, and foods are diverse. We also do private cheffing for sit down dinner parties. We love food!
LMGC began offering plated sit-down dinners in 2012 for those wishing a more formal, in-your-home experience. Menus are created with the host. Meals are prepared at your home, and served with impeccable LMGC service and attitude (meaning we are there to help enjoy the experience with you).
On the day of the event, we come to your place, take over the kitchen, do final cooking, serve, restock, bartend, bus, and do one hell of a cleanup job when we are finished. When we leave your kitchen is spotless! We usually arrive about an hour before and stay for the majority of the evening.
Large banquets, boxed lunches, and drop-offs aren’t our thing, personal service and attention to detail is.
History
Established in 2007.
In 2007, a couple of guys who knew each other as friends decided to challenge each other in making some unique and tasty dishes together, turned out we were pretty good at it. So, based on the bugging of another friend, we offered a happy hour for ten people as a silent auction item for an animal rescue group. The winner happened to be a well-known Dallas attorney named Penny. She was so pleased that she started promoting us.
We do not have a preset menu to choose from, though we have a selection of items as well as some menus from previous events for inspiration. We also don’t have set prices or charge by the person. We really do like working with the host on the menu so that the food complements the event and theme. We will create menus to compliment your theme, the mood, any special diets, religious requests, and, of course, budgets.
We’ve have added another chapter to our repertoire — personal cheffing for smaller, more intimate dinner parties.
