I remember going to Little Caesars inside the Kmart of my local strip mall as a kid. The food hasn’t changed much, but now the locations are not in other businesses. The pizza is puffy and greasy and cheesy and exactly as you remembered it. Those garlic cheese finger things are so fantastic. I can’t believe I hadn’t had one for over 20 years. What was I thinking!!! Their wings aren’t great. The meat does fall off the bone, but they’re real wet and fatty, making them pretty inedible. Go for the cheesy bread + crazy sauce for a gluttonous 5 star, nearly $ 5 experience.

So a pizza described as a $ 5 hot n ready is actually $ 6.00… No biggie. It’s actually not bad for a $ 6.00 pizza. 3 stars because the employees never make eye contact with you and are a little rude.

A few weeks ago, my girlfriend was working in New York City. I was home alone, just me and the dog. I played video games. I drank a ton of Dr. Pepper. Best of all, I dragged myself out of bed, threw on some pajama pants, put the top down in my car, and drove to Little Caesars. It wasn’t even noon, but I had a license to eat whatever I wanted since my much more health-conscious significant other was away. I weighed my options. Taco Bell? Dominos? Those sounded okay, but I wanted something greater. Something I hadn’t eaten in years that would hearken back to my childhood when I was free to eat as much garbage as a growing goat and not worry that age would dull my metabolism. As I pulled into the parking lot, I could smell the Hot-N-Ready pepperoni before I even got into the door. I ordered one of those, then a sausage, then some Crazy Bread and sauce just to complete my regression to being 12 years old again. I drove them home, and scarfed them down like I had been on a deserted island for a week with only a volleyball as a companion. Was it the best pizza I’ve ever had? Of course not. Was it the best pizza I had in hand at that very moment? Oh yes, yes it was. You know the saying… Love the one you’re with.

One of the cleanest locations I have ever been to – hands down! The lady was very polite and helpful. I get that for some the area is a bit sketchy but let this place be the exception. Will be back soon! Thanks, guys!

Okay, so I’m trying to eat at home more, but even after grocery shopping I was feeling lazy and craving pizza. I thought to myself if I were to go cheap on Little Caesars that still kind of saving money. Right? Anyway, enough about me… I strolled in here on Saturday afternoon and ordered the $ 5 hot and ready large pepperoni pizza and an order of Italian crazy bread. That with a mountain dew came to $ 11. Not bad at all. I had to wait about 10 minutes for the order to be ready. I was crazy about the crazy bread minus how greasy it was. The pizza was okay. I’ve eaten at the Little Caesars in Ennis and it was better. This place sufficed though, and helped a girl with a craving on the cheap.
