La Quinta Inn Dallas Park Central

Great hotel close to the highway perfect to spend the night and keep going the next day (my case).
They are strictly smoke free and pet friendly. Has everything that you need to be comfortable and rest peacefully. Oh! And great service :)

This hotel was exactly what I needed it to be. clean and decent ENOUGH to accommodate my extended weekend to SLEEP and have a place to shower, change clothes and head out.
What I did appreciate is … they are pet –friendly and do not charge a pet fee. YAY.
because I had my pet with me.
Overall this place is not bad at all. nothing was dirty or smelly. the rooms come with microwave and mini fridge. they also offer breakfast every morning… FOR FREE !
LOL…I’d stay here again if I needed a place that accepted pets and still maintained a decent room.

The staff been nice and provided information for whatever we asked for. The room was clean, nice bed and it quiet. They even have hot breakfast.

Aa New Years Eve tradition is to find an inexpensive hotel and pig out on junk food and booze and watch the new year roll in. This year we went with La Quinta. GOOD CHOICE! The staff and owners were very nice upon check in and the place has a family feel to it. Very quiet in spite of being on the 635 feeder road. The lobby is fancier than I imagined and thr breakfast area is neat and inviting. The room is spacious with a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The staff is helpful and ready to answer any questions about the area and are knowledgeable (didn’t let on I’m native to Dallas). All the amenities you would expect are here. Breakfast is included with most rates and check out is noon which is more reasonable than 11am! This location is great for a staycation being close to the Galleria and a short distance to North Park Mall. They allow food delivery but you can order room service via Order Inn (menu available on rooms). A lot of transient places like this do not offer this service and I find it quite nice and considerate to great customer service. Check it out. Relax and stay a while!

We stayed in this hotel last night as our daughter was having surgery this morning at Medical City. We arrived at 9:45pm to check in. Our room — two doubles —
Was on the second floor and reaked of cat urine/​cat spraying. We called the front desk and was told that the hotel was «pet friendly.» There were dirty handprints on the back of the main door and the bathroom door. Their was mold in the tub caulking. Each bed only had 3 pillows. The air did blow cold but the smell just intensified and was overwhelming. Breakfast was okay with a lot of variety. Wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t stay here again.

Needed a room for the night. Exceeded my expectations based on other La Quintas that I have stayed at. Clean, modern room and free breakfast. Would stay again!

Horrible! BEDBUGS. BAD MANAGEMENT FILTHY CARPETS NASTY NASTY HOTEL! The manager does not speak English and their front desk is a joke. No refunds for anything like non working AC in room. BEDBUGS ARE FREE! HALLWAY REEKED OF URINE homeless people in the parking lot

Wow! The room was huge! Check out my photos. It was two rooms in one. I ordered the King with a sofa. I believe this hotel was recently remodeled, so I think this was their way to get a King suite: gut two rooms and make it one. I love the size of the room, especially since we have a dog. She loved chasing her ball across the room!
My room and the hotel itself was clean. I did not find any smoke smell and I am really sensitive to smoke.
The bed is firm, I mean REALLY FIRM — be aware! If you don’t like a firm bed, ask if they have something less firm. I don’t know that they have, but ask. I had a hard night sleep and ended up on the sofa.
I didn’t like the hairdryer. It didn’t have enough blow power for me. I need extra puff in my hair and this one had a hard time puffing it. It dried fine, but not much wind to it!
I did laugh at their sign in the bathroom — I put it in the photos. A cheeky way to say, «DON’T STEAL!» I’m shocked someone would pull a hairdryer off the wall, but people today, I’m not surprised.
I was going to workout before breakfast, but was disappointed to learn that the workout room is open at the same time as breakfast opens. Since I wanted to get on my way early, this was not an option for me. I wish the fitness room opened at least one hour before breakfast.
On to breakfast. I love breakfast, so this is an important meal for me. I was disappointed here. Although the coffee was good and the Texas-​shaped waffles were fine, I didn’t like the rest of the offerings. The eggs, bacon, and biscuits were too greasy for my taste. The only fruit available was oranges and apples. No bananas. And no yogurt! There was a place for it, but they either forgot or ran out. I went right a 6:00, so I doubt they ran out. Same with 2^nd day. I later discovered they have boiled eggs. That would have helped. But all the pans were labeled wrong!
There was the usual cereal, small muffins not homemade and bagels that I didn’t try.
So, for me, 1 star for breakfast. Not a winner.
Free WIFI and easy to get on. Dogs are free. Loved the room — a 5 star. So, I’m giving this one 3 stars for an average.
Would I go again. Probably I would give it a second try to see if they improve the breakfast.

Most updated La Quinta. Privately owned. Attentive front staff. The breakfast area is the first thing you see upon entering. It’s DAZZLING. Colors & details nice. Pool not so much. Quaint. Intimate and space but not lit well at night and full of debris. Poor internet connection. Frustrating. 4 stars convenient & close to 75. 4 stars décor & quality breakfast area & offerings. 4 stars snack bar. Two stars poor internet connection two days out. Unhappy face :/​Two stars yucky pool & poor outdoor lighting.
However, great local, space & convenience. Please give them a try.

Don’t use insta hold– it only lasts for an hour maybe two at tops, luckily they still had rooms available. Found dirty towel under sink (with like dirt and rust– pushed into a corner). thankful for the pet policy’s — we are moving and have our cat with us. Parking area is a little darker than I would have liked but hey– what can you really do about that :)

Last night we stayed at the La Quinta in Dallas on the LBJ freeway. When pulling back the bed comforter, I noticed a crusty stain on the bottom sheet. I called the front desk, and the man working informed me that housekeeping was gone for the night. I asked him to get us a new sheet. He said he would try but was very busy.
After about 30 minutes I took the sheet down myself. The man found new sheets and gave them to me to change myself.
I understand that it was a holiday, and the hotel might have been short staffed, but this was completely unacceptable. Not only were my sheets clearly not washed, but I should not have to be doing the work to change them myself after paying La Quinta money to stay at the hotel. I don’t normally complain, but in this case it was completely warranted.
I will NEVER stay in another La Quinta.

Booked last minute on Priceline. Stayed on the first floor for one night. Room looked liked it was recently renovated, king size bed was comfortable. Nice updated furniture. Lobby area was also renovated and had a modern look. Staff was friendly. Pets are accepted. Fitness room located in the first floor. Breakfast is free and available from 6 am to 10 am. Starbucks, In and Out Burger and CVS all within walking distance.
Overall I was pleased with my stay at this hotel. Fiancé says «Great place to stay when your passing thru!»

Very nice hotel. Front desk guy was extremely nice and they were very accommodating for our 2 big dogs (no extra fees!). Walking distance to In n Out for a nice late-​night snack.

The pros:
–Fairly inexpensive ($ 69 a night).
–Decent sized rooms.
–Large ‘mini’ fridge.
–The free breakfast is pretty good.
–The staff was nice.
The cons:
–The entire building smells like smoke.
–They ran out of non-​smoking rooms and we had to stay in a smoking room. There were burn holes in the sheets and someone had used our ice bucket lid as an ashtray.
–The shower randomly goes FREEZING cold in the middle of a shower. This happened several times.
–The blankets are thin and the AC is freezing on the low setting so you will either be freakishly hot or freakishly cold.
–The trashcans don’t have liners.
–There are no pool towels.
–The pool is TINY and not worth using at all.
–Our shower head spewed water out the sides and all over the bathroom.
–The bed was hard as a rock.
–There was construction out front which made it hard to get into the parking lot, and the parking spots are small so be prepared for door dings.

GREAT DEAL AT A GREAT PRICE!!!
On a last minute trip to Dallas, I found this little gem online. I was not expecting much at all, but once I came to check in, my mind was blown!
PROS:
The location is right off of 75, so it was really easy to get around the city. Check-​in was fast and efficient, the staff was very courteous, but most importantly, MY ROOM WAS CLEAN! And by clean, I mean SPOTLESS. There was even a delicious complementary breakfast and free wi-​fi.
CONS:
The refrigerator didn’t work all too well, and I wish I had a TV guide instead of flipping through all those channels, but those things didn’t really affect me too much.
Overall, this was perhaps the best motel I’ve ever stayed at. I’ll definitely come back!

Friendly Check in, quiet rooms, decently clean (how clean can a hotel REALLY be??), cushy beds, 4 pillows per bed, older pool but maintained well, spa water color is a little off putting but this is my second stay here and I’ll def be back! Oh – and free wifi!
