Bad experience just now with no checkers available and having to do self check out with 26 items and a sick child. Expressed concerns to manager on duty, but doesn’t seem like anything will be done. Perhaps I’ll shop at Tom Thumb for now.

Why do you hire people who ask if they can help you and then they don’t know where the item is themselves?

This grocery store is the closest one to me. I haven’t been to all the grocery store types in Dallas, so I can only compare Kroger’s to the ones that I am very familiar with. I used to live closest to Tom Thumb. The prices are better at Kroger’s, in general, though the cheapest prices are those at Walmart. The produce is good, but the selection certainly could be better. They do have the basics. They have very few organic foods, which is a problem for me. Curiously, I find that they don’t carry a few of my routine items: Folger’s coffee that is made like teabags, OutShine popsicles in blueberry medley flavor, and others. This is where I do a lot of my shopping, mostly because of convenience and fair prices.

Coming here is always a hit or miss! Granted it’s far better than the Walmart up yonder but recently not by much. People will cut in front of you as you are walking as if they are more entitled than you. Never can find anyone to assist and at times the selection can be lacking. I don’t know who taught bagging lessons to the cashier I used on this visit, but I’m guessing it was the same person that gave Ray Charles ukulele instructions. And you see how that turned out! The self check out lanes should change its name to «self frustration» since that’s what it creates! It should have two workers helping out at this station since there’s never a moment I’ve been in the self check out and it’s not been an issue. But on the positive(yes there’s a plus here) at least it’s close by, the bakery and produce is always fresh and the pharmacy is better than any other stores I’ve dealt with.

Okay, the location is a bit shady, and it’s disconcerting that there is more than one security guard patrolling the place in the middle of the day… but it’s actually a pretty nice store. The selection is okay, if a bit limited, but the basics are well represented, and the staff have always been nice. As it’s the closest Kroger to our temp apartment here in Dallas, I will probably frequent it for staples(during the day).

I have many good things to say about Krogers. Price is good, nice location and friendly staff. However the last two times I was here I noticed that the cashiers overcharged me for a few products. The last time I would be paying $ 16 extra for my groceries. So, it’s good to pay attention when cashiers are registering the products. Since they have a great selection of produce, for example, they tend to charge you for the most expensive one even though you bought the cheapest.

The last time I was here I was ready to spill my animosity towards the deli. Thankfully, the young lady today rectified my opinion and I will be back. I haven’t seen the«Walmart» caliber of people, although maybe I’m just more relaxed, but this location pretty much has what I need. It’s close to me so that’s what counts. Obviously, I’ve seen better Signature locations, but at least they are trying with the Starbucks being inside.

Krogrrrrrrr… I’ve been a Kroger shopper since I started buying my own groceries 15 years ago, but damn, Gina! Can’t a person spend a billion dollars on groceries(because that’s what shit costs these days) and feel safe their bread isn’t going to get squished? Newp. Overall this store is ok. It has the basics and then a little more, but lacks here and there. Here being the seafood counter. There is no seafood at this counter save for already cooked shrimp and catfish nuggets. Some days they have tuna steaks and other exotic chicken of the sea, but don’t bet on being able to get what you need on the regular. The«there» is the customer service. I just don’t want my meats mixed with my produce. I know that’s got to be in the training manual somewhere. Once in awhile I get a bagger that seems to understand the basic principles of Tetris and also understands that 20 canned goods makes a bag no one can carry. I don’t hate this store because I gotta have my Viva paper towels and at least I know that they will likely have most of the stuff I need that I can’t get at Trader Joe’s, but I’ve also been to better Krogers.

I do like coming to this Kroger because it’s close, the prices are decent and of course the Starbucks inside the store. That homeless tend to pester you for money when going inside but that’s minor. A good, clean store overall.

Gloria an employee of the store curses she’s the finger and screams at coworkers and her manager in front of customers I called customer hotline the manager and emailed Kroger and this woman is still here! Each time I go to the store and see her it’s worse! The pharmacy is rude and dairy department smells like the cooler is not working! and the homeless people sitting outside tops it all

This review is for the employees… a grocery store is a grocery store… but this place is horrible. I was just in there and the stockers don’t acknowledge your presence but almost knock you down to put things in the shelf and the checkers don’t stop there ghetto antics and conversations when there are people in line. Totally non caring and totally unprofessional! Ugh! My check girl Jamie with the overly applied make up and nose ring… it is your job the check out customers not talk loudly and inappropriately across the register to the other ghetto employees. No eye contact, not speaking and just throw your groceries into the bag… food and non food items. Every time I come in here for a quick item I remember why I drive to the nice Walmart off skillman instead of coming here…

I give my local kroger five stars because they have a great selection of the freshest meats and produce. The bakery always has fresh baked breads. I’ve never had an issue with extra long lines because the managers are quick to open more lanes to get you on your way. Cashiers are always friendly and last but not least the prices are very competitive. Great sales week to week. I feel no need to search for a better store!

I feel so weird giving a review to this place! I love that this is so close to my house, and carry most of everything I need when I’m too lazy to drive to Wholefood. All of the stars I’m giving them is for everything else but not the service! Their staffs are so rude and lazy. They don’t even care to come if you need some help. At the end of the day, this is still my store to shop if I can’t make it to my first, second, or third choice

This Kroger is like a sample of the worse of People of Walmart. I don’t have a better word to describe this place other than ghetto… ghet-to! Sure there’s plenty of food in stock, but if I have to see someone walking around with their underwear showing I lose my appetite. It was just all out there! I’m not going to talk about everyone I’ve seen shopping and working here, but at some point there needs to be a dress code. No Halloween costumes unless it’s Halloween, no rollers, no sleep bonnets, no scary makeup, and no underpants on display! Please do not use the motorized shopping carts if you are not handicapped or injured! The checkout lanes are slow too. Sometimes they don’t have anyone monitoring the finicky self checkout lanes and no one will be anywhere to assist you when the machine acts up. Kroger used to be my neighborhood grocer of choice, but this is just bad. As much as I hate being ripped off by Tom Thumb, I’d rather shop there than see unsightly things only to go home shaking my head in disgust. As far as prices go… see my previous review. It’s not worth it anyway.

I had some of the best customer care i have ever had from a grocery sstore. I’m not sure if it was just that particular cashier or the whole staff is as eager to help, but she turned my bad day around with the great attitude she had! Good prices. Clean store.

When I can’t make it to Walmart or Sprouts I come to this Kroger because it’s on my way home from work and it’s clean. The staff is typically friendly — ran into a girl one time in the food department that didn’t seem so pleasant. But, overall a clean store, and the lines are always fairly short and quick.

My hubby and I recently moved, and unfortunately there is not a Target or an Aldi nearby. So, I have converted to a Kroger shopper. The prices are decent and it is super close to our apartment. I like the homemade tortillas and the ribs they sell on the weekends. There is also a Starbucks inside. The only downside is that it needs to be cleaned a little more. It is pretty dirty.

Meh. That’s really all there is to say about this Kroger. I strongly prefer the signature stores(this one is also a signature) in the suburbs, but what can you do, it’s right down the street from where I live. Aside from the incident wherein I fell flat on my back in a pool of lime green Hawaiian Punch that was just left in an aisle, I’ve not really had any complaints about this store. The customers are rude and pushy but that’s hardly Kroger’s fault. The bakery staff are friendly, I don’t know about the cashiers because I always self check. Prices are good and produce is fresh, but I wish there was more«non-organic» produce.
