TL;DR: two stars for quality of the clothes that happen to be stocked and –3 for the customer service and selection. Not long enough; did read — This J Crew has a pretty small collection of men’s clothing compared to what is online. There doesn’t seem to be any method to the layout either because I saw a wool top coat hanging next to pajamas adjacent to tennis shoes. The merchandise they DO have is your typical quality they’re known for. P. S. while I know J Crew isn’t known for customer service, I think they should consider opening a hardware division given the amount of tools employed.

I never wanna shop at this shop again. They are so rude. I went to their male store earlier today without dress up(wear a addias short and shirt). And nobody wanna help me looking for my size. They even dont ask if I like their clothes or not after i tried them on. They are not friendly and professional at all. Moreover, when i check out, they even say«thank you»

Three words: FULLBRIDALCOLLECTION. This is the primary thing that elevates this J Crew to a better-than-thou level. You do need to make an appointment ahead of time to gain access, but once you have that, you can physically inspect the wide variety of bridesmaid styles they have available for online order. Sometimes, just looking at a dress on a website isn’t enough to make a decision, and picking the attire for your wedding party is one of those tricky situations. Otherwise, this location has a good mix of men’s and women’s wear pieces, including some swim, shoes, and suiting.

This Jcrew is awesome! Please don’t let the 1 star reviews throw you off, especially since they seem slightly catty and are also from a few years ago. I definitely prefer this location over the Galleria because they consistently have full size runs in inventory, and the salespeople are super friendly. Lana is fabulous!

Wow… what is wrong with people? Same clothes you could find at target? A little melodramatic now aren’t we? I am so tired of folks whining about how much cheaper X could be at Y store… if that’s the case what ARE you doing at the mall? At Northpark mall no-less? Save yourself some gas and do all your shopping at target. Actually no wait… Wal-Mart actually has t-shirts EVENCHEAPER! Who would have thunk it! Try the dollar store even; I believe some of those sell clothing too. For the rest of us that would like to buy quality clothing sometimes(if not always) please check J crew out. I especially like them for work clothes and their sales are hard to beat. I see them as a less common banana republic although I think they have more pizzazz.. Club Monaco, White House Black market etc are similar… Mid priced quality clothing with occasional great sales. I’m a bigger girl and I still manage to find clothing in my size that looks and feels great which speaks to their selection. Four Stars, one star off for… I don’t know, not being five star? lol… that I reserve for Nordstrom. :)

Great selection of regular and sale items, but the three guys at the register came across as snobby and posers(at least on this particular day). This is always unbecoming, right? The guy didn’t even wrap my items in tissue or say, «thank you.» He dropped my three sale items in a bag and said, «here you go.» I was shocked, but what to do? J Crew has some great pieces. I did enjoy going into the beautiful Ralph Lauren store located in the same mall, perhaps I will give them a try.

Give me any parking lot, clothing store, or restroom location in Northpark, and I can point you to the shortest path towards J. Crew. This is how often I’ve been here. Sometimes it’s the only store I visit when I drive out of my way to shop. The staff are impeccably dressed and always sweet & helpful. Once in a while, I would splurge on a regular-priced item, but the sales rack is my favourite: it’s always organized and the selection(both in sizes & styles) is surprisingly abundant. Sometimes the prices beat the online & outlet stores. Showing your student/teacher ID = an additional 15% off. I would recommend going early in the day on the weekend: not only would you have an easier time parking, but the sales racks would’ve been freshly re-stocked, and the staff would have more time to help you. When I receive the monthly J. Crew catalog in the mail, it puts a smile on my face. But nothing beats gushing over the display window, feeling the high-quality fabrics, and the possibility of treating yourself to a tangible piece of happiness!

This J. Crew is the bomb!!! The staff is very nice. I think some people just had a bad experience.

This is your typical J Crew store. Classic store design and clothing. There was no «funk» smell when I’ve been in there. J Crew was having problems with their logistics late last year/early this year which seem to have been fixed and may explain one of the previous reviewers problems. Target does NOT sell the clothing equivalent of J Crew. J Crew uses much higher quality materials and superior workmanship. While some of the clothing my look similar the same thing could be argued about designer clothing(like Prada) and Target clothing. J Crew has a pretty wide variety of styles and many I know you can NOT find at Target. While J Crew is a bit pricey for what you’re getting, a lot of there stuff is fairly unique and you can bet you wont be seeing every other person plastered in the exact same style. Not to mention J Crew has fantastic sales(regularly 35−50% and sometimes 75% off). The sales staff is friendly and willing to to go the extra mile, as they are at just about any J Crew store. I would normally give 4 stars but since the other two reviewers were overly harsh in their ratings i’m giving it five stars.

I made the mistake of wandering into J. Crew last week when I was looking for a white cardigan. I completely agree with Anne’s review of overpriced, overrated prepster junk at J. Crew. I have only one thing to add: It smelled like old dirty towels. Yes, something exudes a funk in there. My friend noticed the smell too, so I know it’s not just my hyper-sensitive sense of smell. Maybe it’s a plumbing leak, or some chemical they use at the clothing factory. I don’t know, but they need to do something about it. And the fact that their clothes suck. That is all.

I *never* shop at J. Crew because you can buy clothes at Target that look identical but cost a tenth of the price. And lo and behold, the one time I made an exception to this rule, I ended up regretting it horribly. They had a cute winter coat in one of their catalogs, so I went in to see what it was like. Oops, that coat isn’t sold in stores — you have to order it online or by phone. Meanwhile, I try on a similar coat(one they’re actually selling IN the stores) and think it’s kinda cute. The saleslady convinces me to buy it AND order the catalog one(free shipping when you call from the store), then compare them and return whichever one I like least. The coats are on a great sale, and free shipping sounds nice, so I agree to this plan. This was about three weeks before Christmas. On Christmas Day, the second coat(from the catalog) still hadn’t arrived — and it was going to be a gift from my parents. So much for that. Three weeks AFTER Christmas, the second coat still hadn’t arrived. Finally, I find the time to sit down and call their customer service. The guy tells me that the coat isn’t in stock, and they aren’t making any more. Oh, and guess what? The coat wasn’t even in stock WHEN I ORDEREDIT. Yet they still happily CHARGEDMYCARD for it!!! So then I had to go about the process of getting the charge reversed(ugh) and still haven’t decided whether or not to keep the first coat(because I honestly liked the one in the catalog better, but oh hey, now I’ll NEVERKNOW). Thanks, J. Crew, for ruining Christmas and trying to scam me out of more than $ 200 by never informing me that the coat wasn’t in stock and was no longer being produced. I think I’ll return the other coat just on principle. I’m not giving you any of my business. It is now my official policy, whenever I pass a J. Crew store, to walk into the center of the store, pick up a sweater, and loudly proclaim, «WOW, I COULDBUYTHISATTARGETFOR $ 10!» Then exit and move on to better stores, while all the women around me look mildly surprised, then realize I’m right and start nodding their heads in agreement, put down those ridiculous, overpriced t-shirts, and beat a hasty retreat.(Oh, a girl can dream… but this is Dallas, national headquarters of the Overpriced Prepster movement.)
