Hook & Ladder Draught House

We have had the truck come out to St. Monicas Catholic School and Dallas Jesuit two years in a row for our large events and it was absolutely amazing. They were there on time and delivered a product for 200+ People. Since the cooking time per pie is only 60 seconds the lines were never long and the service was fantastic. We will defintely be using them to cater our large parties in the future for our office. Since they are mobile they said they can go anywhere in the DFW Metroplex.

Do NOT schedule this truck if you don’t absolutely need them!
I have trouble giving them even one star!
They cancelled both dates we had them set up and left us scrambling to find a replacement in only 2 hours to go! And this is after the event manager Christine told me that they are not a cancelling truck!
The first event they cancelled was for about 250 people this last Saturday. They called 4 hours before the event stating they were just checking to see if we were still having the event because of the rain. When I said yes, rain or shine we have a tour, plus it is not raining in Dallas, they groaned. So I reminded the driver that it will be over 200 people and they will be the only food truck, so we will need them there and it should be a lot of fun. 2 hours later the truck driver called again saying that his generator didn’t work and he couldn’t run the truck without it. I told him he could either go rent a generator or find a replacement food truck and it’d be fine. I understand things happen, but a backup plan is needed. He said ok and had Christine call back restating that the truck could not run without the generator. I again said, that is fine and I understand, but she can either rent a generator or find a replacement. She simply said she didn’t know any other food trucks and would not find a replacement. (I’m beginning to realize why they don’t have any food truck friends)
Then, the following Monday (today), Christine emailed cancelling her other event that we have them scheduled for later in the year without an explanation. She apparently didn’t like that I was upset at their last minute cancellation. Cancelling an event 2 hours prior to 250 people showing up is not good business. Once I talked to other breweries about this, I discovered that we were not the only one that had issues with them.
So cute idea with the fire truck and all, but cute only works if you show up.
We will never use this truck again and I highly recommend you don’t either!

Wow — what a great setup. The fire trucks are beautiful and the pizza is great. You can choose what beer you have in on tap, right from the back of the fire engine. The guys that run this are so nice, helpful and they can drive up to any party. My party was a hit, the guests thought it was a great idea and the food was excellent. I was extremely satisfied with the entire experience and will hire them any time I have a party.
