Business Owner

Hiram Lock & Key and Stephen’s Locksmith Service are owned and operated by myself, Stephen Hartdegen. I have been in the service business for better than 30 years. Early on, I worked in and managed retail auto parts stores where I learned the importance of customer satisfaction. Directly previous to becoming a Locksmith, I worked in the computer industry as a computer consultant. With the help of friends and family, I was able to turn the consulting business into an entity of my own. This is where I learned the business skills necessary to become self-​employed, which led to the creation of Stephen’s Locksmith Service. Shortly after entering the Locksmith trade, my Hiram Lock & Key identity was created to solidify a local identity. Since then, customer needs have given me the opportunity to service the entire Atlanta Metro area (ITP and OTP), as well as many outlying areas.
