This place was surprisingly yummy. My husband had the full rack of ribs and there was too much for him to eat. He loved them though. I had the pulled pork without a bun. The pork was much greasier than I like, but the slaw was super fresh and crunchy, loved the slaw. The sweet potato fries were good too. The place was open and easy to maneuver. Unfortunately, we were there just at the end of a loud wedding party. So we sat outside. The outside seating was nice. The bathrooms were clean. The cost wasn’t bad either. The wait staff were friendly and attentive as well. Good place to eat!

Loved this place. Definitely in the top 5 barbecue places I’ve been to. The dry rub was delicious and the meat was super tender and moist. I really appreciated the side options. Too many bbq places only offer chips or coleslaw as a side but this restaurant has tons of options. I definitely recommend the mac & cheese!

It’s a Packers and Wisconsin bar disguised as a BBQ joint. Sports bar meets Texan décor with a TON of tv’s. Smaller but interesting menu in a good way and the food seems really good for a bar. We were there for a MNF game and it was slow, but everyone there was rooting for the Packers so I’ll be back. Only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is cause the beer menu was mostly imports and there were only 2 Wisconsin beers: Miller Lite and Highlife. Seems like a place that should have less imports on tap and more domestic craft beers. Still coming back though.

Retry Review: 3 star food, 1 star service. Called in an order on a rainy Sunday but they didn’t ask for name or number or give an estimated time, then informed me upon arrival they didn’t have half my order. Neil, hooked me up with a comp and I’ve been contacted by management previously… so I know they are trying! Mac and cheese recipe has changed since the place opened. Need to go back to the old recipe, no bite, too sweet, and too cheesy if that’s even possible!!! Brisket sandwich is pretty great with new type of bun! I’ll be back. I hope constructive criticism helps improve this place because I want to like it. — — — — — — — — - Don’t go. Went for lunch on a Sunday;my girlfriend and I were the only guests there. They were sold out of brisket, which is a cardinal sin. They also made and served me the wrong dish at first. This place shouldn’t and won’t last.

This place has the best bbq in Dallas. The food and service is absolutely fantastic. We specifically request Neal as I server, because he is awesome. This is our new favorite neighborhood spot.

Henderson Avenue Country Club was AMAZING!!! Possibly the best BBQ and sides I’ve ever had. Everything was delish. Happy hour drinks very resonable and Neal was a great waiter/host.

This place is awesome !! I’m not one for packed bars where you can’t hear he people next to you talking. This is a really comfortable place with great food and a good atmosphere. I came here on a Tuesday and there was about 10 – 15 people in here despite the fact that it was pouring outside. I got the armadillo Eggrolls. Gotta say, they were pretty legit. They come with a sriracha sauce that’s out of this world !! They don’t have much on tap but they have the essentials on tap. I’m an IPA drinker and they had Deep Ellum so I was happy about that !! The bartender was cool and was in his game. This place is great when you want to get away from that uptown vibe. It’s so much more laid back. Henderson Tap House is a stones throw away so if you’re over there you might as well stop by this place and grab some drinks if the bar is too full !! They had 4 or 5TV’s which was really nice. The two at the bar are about 65 to 70 inches. I recommend this place highly and I’ll for sure be coming back !!

The bourbon sauce is out of control! We got the armadillo egg rolls for an appetizer and enjoyed them thoroughly. The server, who was also the bartender, was gracious and sweet and got all of our orders correct on the first try. Surprisingly, until we had asked for our check to depart, we were the only people in the joint for a 1:30pm lunch. Other restaurants in the area were well-populated, so I’m not sure what’s happening there. My pals got the brisket sandwich and chicken wings and very much enjoyed them. I got the catfish burrito. Do NOT get it blackened. It was so unbelievably pasty. Slimy, to say the least. I imagine it’s much better with fried. TV’s will be fun for World Cup and other events.

The $.25 wing night does not offer wings for sale at $.25 a wing. The wings are $.25 each with the purchase of a side dish. The HACC charges $ 5 for a side of fries, for example. «$ 5?! Those must be some incredible fries?! That’s more than double the going rate!» you say. But no. The fries are mushy and bland. I would have complained about being served so few, but they are virtually inedibly bad and I did not eat the ones they gave me. The wings are no winner either. Granted, they have a number of varieties and I did not try them all. If you are looking for quality chicken wings, –or quality bbq –or quality honesty in the advertisement of specials, then I would go elsewhere. The happy hour drinks are cheap, but I would avoid this place at all costs and pay an extra $.50 per beer next door.

My friend and I popped in here on Thursday night to grab a bite. The place was pretty empty so we opted to just sit at the bar. We ordered the Cowboy Combo 3 meats for $ 25 — brisket, ribs and sausage. The brisket was a little dry but the sausage and ribs were great — the mean literally just fell off the bone of the ribs. They have quite the selection of BBQ sauces — 6 in fact. At first it felt like they were going a little overboard, but once I tasted them all I realized how different they all were. We also got the mac and cheese which was great and super creamy. It’s not the best BBQ I’ve ever had but far from bad. Plus no standing in long lines for BBQ is always a plus. And a full bar :) In fact, the guy next to us at the bar was drinking both a Johnny Walker Blue on the rocks and a Miller Lite simultaneously while feasting on a HUGE brisket sandwich. Power to him! I would definitely go back but I’m worried they won’t make it. It seems like this space has been cursed in the past but hopefully they will gain a loyal following soon.

Didn’t really care for the food at all and was seriously overpriced. Additionally parking is impossible unless you want to valet.

Really wanted to give it more stars, but I came with some friends for Sunday brunch & they only had one server which was a problem. We stood in the front for over 10 minutes before seating ourselves, drinks took at least 10 – 15 minutes per round, the food took over 30 minutes. That would have been fine if they were busy, but there were only two other tables besides ours. The food and drinks were good, but it just took forever, it would have been faster however if our server had stopped sitting and drinking mimosas with her friends at the table behind us. Towards the end of our meal it looked like some other staff showed up, but that was almost two hours later, we weren’t planning on being there that long but the service was just way too slow. Not sure if I’ll comeback which is too bad since I live walking distance. I’m not hard to impress, but when the waitress is drinking mimosas and I’m still waiting for my drink I’d say there is a problem.

My wife and I decided to check this new place out on a Sunday afternoon. You could smell the smoker from the parking lot and it smelled great. Walked in and straight to the bar. The place is small but cool and when we got there it was not very busy. After about 15 minutes one of the TWO bartenders noticed we were there and gave us some menus. Looking at the prices and the attitude of the staff we decided this was not the place we would be spending our money! Sorry, the service is going to kill this place!

Sunday Funday is a good time anywhere other than this place. Take my word it… DONOTGOHERE, unless you prefer not to get service. My husband and I are always trying new places to let loose, so we walked in HACC and really enjoyed the ‘feel’(and smoked meat smell) of this bar. High-fived each other for an awesome choice way too soon! Here’s how it went down– walked in, sat at the nearly empty bar, and waited for service, and waited, and waited. We got PLENTY of looks from both bartenders, but not so much as a «be right with y’all». After 15mins, we left with a surprising wonderment from the clueless female bartender. People skills and common sense should be a requirement when hiring service staff. Just saying.

Pretty cool place so far. I love the vibe that is much like Tried & True that was formerly in the space. I only got the armadillo egg rolls but they were delicious. The Draft beer & Cocktails on the menu are pretty overpriced($ 7-$ 10) but the canned beer list is reasonable at $ 4-$ 6. I’ll be back for some of that brisket you can smell smoking out back!
