The day my company switched our health care plans, my first thought was — I wonder if Dr Grand is still covered! I’m the kind of girl who never had a regular doctor — I never understood the point. $ 100 office visit so he can tell me I have a cold? No thanks. But then a close friend referred me to Dr Grand when I was having major asthma problems, and I declared him my doctor for life.
Of course, thanks to the fun world of PPOs, I’ve been told that Dr Grand is no longer in my network, so I can’t go see him unless I want to unass a load of cash. I refuse to find a replacement doctor, which means I went without my prescription allergy medicine this summer. If that isn’t loyatly, what is? Well, loyalty or stupidity. Either way, Dr Grand is amazing — if you are in the market for a doctor, give him a call.
