I hired handy just this past week to clean my apartment. I have had this strange smell in the apartment and had noticed the windows had these black spots on them. Tabitha cleaned my apartment and I asked her to specifically clean the windows and mentioned the strange smell. When i got back from the gym, the apartment smelled so fresh and clean and it was spotless. Tabitha did such a great job. She found mold in the apartment which I am extremely grateful she did because I immediately informed my managing company. I hope in the future to have Tabitha clean my apartment again. She was very professional and friendly and I couldn’t have had a better experience. Thank you Laura for a great app and service and thank you Tabitha.

I have had MOSTLY great experiences with Handy so far. Scheanna B. and David were both outstanding! Great cleaning, great communication, and super friendly. David even commented on how cool my dogs were, which I am a sucker for!
I did have one POOR experience where I believe my cleaner took my vacuum cleaner and did not do nearly as thorough a job as all the previous professionals had. I contacted Handy and they were very quick to handle the complaint. They refunded me the cost of the cleaning and they credited me $ 26 (basically half the cost of what I pay now) for a future cleaning.
I actually didn’t realize right away that my vacuum cleaner was missing when I reported the poor cleaning. When I reported the missing vacuum cleaner the Handy customer service replied that they would have the cleaner contact me directly. She did leave a message, but I felt uncomfortable handling the situation myself as I didn’t want to falsely accuse anyone. The vacuum cleaner had seen better days so I let it go and I’m only requesting David or Scheanna moving forward.

I’ve had Handy clean my apartment five times. Four of them were perfect, one wasn’t but their customer service department quickly remedied it.

I purchased a 4-​hour cleaning session with a Groupon purchase — enter Handy! They sent Vanessa who brought along her sweet mother. At first I thought that meant I would get 2 cleaners for 2 hours, but no! I got both ladies for a full 4 hours (plus, they went over by 20 minutes just to make sure the job was picture perfect.) When they left, I walked through my house and realized I’d never seen it **spar**kle** so much! This was an amazing experience.

A year and a half since my first review and I am still a customer! I only use the service for my loft about once every six weeks, but the app makes it super easy to schedule and manage. Kimberly was most recent and took my place from a complete trainwreck (traveling and general stuffallovertheplace) to a showpiece. Thank y’all!

Strange professionals, not professionally dressed like picture.
The communication is horrible with this company. When you are in need of reaching someone, you cannot and their emails back are automated. I wouldn’t recommend this service for multiple reasons: overpriced, lack of professionalism, poor quality, and they do not care about their customers and their satisfaction. I have tried several different times and have had very little luck with getting someone good to clean my home. They used to have uniforms and now just random people show up. STAY AWAY!

I hired Handy to come clean an apartment that I was moving out of after my regular housekeeper cancelled at the last minute on me and seeing as I had to turn in the keys to my place and make sure it was properly cleaned prior, I was scrambling — enter Handy!
Thankfully, Handy’s Housekeeper, Debbie, saved the day! The apartment is glistening and so clean. Debbie even went through the cabinets and drawers to make sure I hadn’t forgotten anything (which I had, so she set the items on the counter for me) because I told her it was a cleaning for a move-​out.
She texted me that she was on her way, texted me when she had finished and overall I couldn’t be happier with her.
I did have a bit of a problem scheduling the appointment and customer service is tough to work with, they kind of just say the same thing over and over again without answering your question but all in all, it got sorted out and I am very satisfied. Will definitely use this service again!

I just scheduled my first home cleaning this morning and it turned out GREAT.
Few notes:
— I had Ryan — who did a great job if you can request someone.
— You can track the person coming to your place on the app in case if anything happens.
— There’s also an option to add a tip via the app (I didn’t see that when I originally made the booking)
— They bring their own cleaning supplies, but I offered mine in case if they needed anything.
— Note that you can’t really initially schedule a one-​time cleaning. It’s all recurring based on a schedule you prefer. You can cancel (only via the app) if need be.
— They cleaned basically every surface in my apartment and did a wonderful job. A+ for Handy and for Ryan.

Do NOT use this scam of a «service.» I liked the functionality of online booking and paying, but the cleaning «professional» hardly cleaned nor was she professional. The customer service from my complaint was even WORSE. The pro is supposed to «check in» so you can track their progress (which is a super cool feature, actually). I watched that thing like a hawk — she never checked in at my house and was at her current location (assuming her house?) all morning. She finally responded to texts saying it must be a glitch on my end. Riiiight. My microwave wasn’t cleaned out, the trash was filled to the top and left in my kitchen, throw blankets were literally thrown in a pile on my sofa. I never received an actual response after multiple emails, though they did refund my money. Seriously, spare yourself the headache.

April O. did a fantastic job of cleaning our loft along with the fridge add-​on. She was prompt, professional, and finished on time. I see a lot of reviews on here regarding inconsistent service. April told us that we could request her personally through the app, so I recommend anyone in the Dallas area to do the same. We will definitely be keeping our recurring monthly appointment if we continue to get this level of service.

This was my first experience with Handy and I was not disappointed. From the scheduling to the work completed, was completely professional and prompt.
I recently moved to Dallas and needed some assistance hanging a large mirror and installing a thermostat. Tyrone was on time, kept in communication with me. He was very helpful and would recommend.

Handy is a pretty easy, efficient, and a affordable company. Jay came in and then got out with our house smelling fresh and clean. He was extremely kind and personable and I really like that in customer service. Clearly a very hard worker! I would argue that there were a few corners cut… example one toilet was cleaned while the other was not… also its clear there was no cleaning under couches etc. We used this with our $ 50 referral promo so the cost was $ 37 dollars. Was the clean worth $ 37? Definitely. If it was normal priced at $ 87? Definitely not, and I would expect a lot more… to immaculate. Overall, we are in a fairly cleaned house when we just haven’t had the time and I love that!

Their service in kind of a pain as I get a new person every time and they’re usually late or cancel or once even a no-​show. However, I haven’t been able to find anyone else willing to do such a small 2-​hour job for the low price I have through Handy, so I deal with the headache. All of the cleaners have done a good job, though.

TERRIBLE job and no response from company.
The cleaner was in my home for 3 hours and when I returned could not tell the place was even touched!
He even said that this was the worst he’s ever done.
Multiple requests for refund or redo have gone unanswered. BEWARE of this scam company.

Cleaners aren’t adequately trained. Not consistent. Not thorough. And definitely unprofessional. I’ve had them text me for an earlier appointment time numerous times, ask me how much I’m paying for rent, etc. Cancelations last minute. Impossible to call customer service.
For the same money, you can find something better.

Have tried them twice now. First time was decent, he was fast but not thorough and I had a groupon so I wasn’t worried. This time I had Kimberly and she was very friendly, great attention to detail and professional.
It’s a bit pricey definitely something I’ll consider again
