Hampton Inn

Stayed here 10÷15÷2015−10÷17÷2015 while attending a trade show at the convention center. Room was clean and fresh with a comfy bed and fluffy pillows. I liked that the bathroom and shower was larger than most places. The staff was friendly and nice. The complimentary breakfast was above average for a complimentary breakfast in that there were 2 protein selections each morning in addition to the other normal fare of muffins, waffles, yogurt, etc…
I plan on staying again next year.

This was a decent stay. Room was clean and cozy but the thermostat was being a bastard… I couldn’t get it to stay at a decent temperature and the room would get hot and the air would not automatically kick on. The breakfast was the normal waffle and knick knacks… It was conveniently located off the interstate 30 and had a gas station right next door and a Walmart across the way to buy plenty of liquor to pass the time and pass out so as not to venture out and have the wife freak out about Ebola. (I stayed alone) but still… Gave her peace of mind to know I was passed out drunk in a comfortable clean bed rather than being Hoffman in the Outbreak movie. I digress.
Great stay, hot water clean sheets and they had a mini fridge and microwave. So I could keep said alcohol cold instead of filling the sink or tub with ice.
Wasn’t too far from dealy plaza and the 6^th floor museum for the tourist thing…
Don’t eat at taco cabana or the chicken shack across the way. All in all was a better stay here than my last stay at Hampton over in walnut hill.
You can go to the Walmart at your own risk… Seriously… It’s like Somalia in black hawk down in that Walmart.

This place is good in general, but it was the first time ever that I could hear the person in the room next door coughing. Otherwise a pretty nice Hampton.

Staff tells us that this place has been open for 15 months. Our room still smells brand new. The staff could not be nicer here. Vicky was very nice and helpful. I talked to a person who was a regular staying here and he really likes it here. One thing that we did notice was the bath towels could be a little bigger and a scale to weigh luggage would be nice addition.
