It is impossible to fathom that Robert Jeffress has endorsed Donald Trump as a Christian. The First Baptist Church needs to be taxed since they have officially thrown their hat into the Political arena.

This Church and Robert Jeffress should be fined and taxed since they are «endorsing» a Political candidate. Separation of Church and State Dr. Jeffress, or have you forgotten that little bit of information. As a leader of a Congregation, your Political affiliation should not be known by anyone attending your Church.

I can’t believe this Church has the congregation that it does. I went to one service and for the first time in a long time, I really felt my heart break. I felt like I was standing amongst a real cult. The very beginning of the service Jeffress was speaking about how every other church goer, but HIS people were going to Hell, including Catholics which really surprises me considering Catholics are Christian. Moving on he starts talking about how you need to give away ALL your money to church and how he gave away all his money to the church and someone came up to him at a gas station and wrote him a check that was bigger than what he gave to the church. Okay first of all, that didn’t happen. Second of all, if it did happen, you shouldn’t share it with your congregation to guilt them into tithing more than what they can afford.

My wife and i have been listening to Dr. Jeffress on Pathway to Victory for several years and been wanting to attend this church. Finally we start attending FBD since February… we love it and have also registered as members here. Living in Arlington and we thought the drive would be too far but truly it’s well worth it. Dr. Jeffress is a genuine God-​fearing Bible-​believing servant of HIS kingdom. And the warmth of the welcome staff here is beyond words. As for parking, there are several free parking garages nearby, not as complicated as you might think. We usually attends the 9:15 am traditional worship and then Growing in Faith Sunday school. If you and your family are looking for a place to worship, please look no further. For those with children FBD have an awesome ministry for them too. Hope to meet you at FBD soon. God bless.

This church preaches on the word of God, always. Dr. Jeffress does not pick and choose what to preach on, he preaches it all; even the hard stuff.
I’ve attended FBCD for over 5 years now and I have had my ups and downs here. There has been times where I thought I would look elsewhere for a home church, but I couldn’t be more happy with my decision to stay. After the announcement of the new campus, I was definitely skeptical and did not like the idea. I liked the sanctuary with the way it was and everything about it before the rebuilding.
But the campus is gorgeous and although it is large, it is easier to get to the worship center, or the sanctuary, or the kid’s cove than one would expect. But there are always someone around every corner to help visitors find where to go. The kid’s cove is decorate to make the children excited to explore and go to Sunday school. There are so many different Sunday schools for all different kinds of people in all different stages of life. There is valet for senior citizens, and there are three parking garages, and three different parking lots to choose from.
The sermons are always spot on, and Dr. Jeffress preaches on so many different parts of the bible. He usually starts a 4 or 5 week series on a certain book of the Bible. It is so refreshing to know that not only does he stay with in the walls of our church to do God’s work, but he also makes appearances on Fox and Friends and on the O’Reilly Factor.
It’s right down the way from Klyde Warren park so after the service, you can walk down the street and eat at the food trucks!

My husband and I have been attending semi-​regularly since April when we moved to Irving. We love Dr. Jeffress and look forward to attending more services and maybe even joining the church. We love how deep he digs into the scripture and how he tells it like it is. Everyone there is always friendly. We love this church!

I’m from small town Oregon. Visiting Dallas First Baptist was amazing. I was so warmly welcomed and a greeter escorted me to the sanctuary so I wouldn’t get lost. It is a beautiful church, grand music and multi-​media. With all the «shine», what I experienced were people who truly love God and are committed in their faith. I’m not a super holy roller. They weren’t either. I had a wonderful morning and left humming on my way back to my hotel and conference. If you visit Dallas, I recommend this church for your Sunday morning –it was beautiful. I loved it.

I’m not a member of this church, neither am I Baptist so I’ll limit my review. Decided to check this place out during its Easter Day grand opening. It’s a nice building, the fountain out front is worth checking out — reminds me of the dancing fountain in front of Bellagio in Las Vegas. The setup where the service takes place is especially nice (take a look at the photos provided by others) with the screens and the lights, they can definitely keep the churchgoers attentive. It was easy to read scripture along with the pastor.

Attended the 9:15AM Easter Service. It was Amazing! Dr. Jeffress’s message was so right on and encouraging. The new facility is so very nice. I would say there would not be a bad seat in the house. The sound system is incredible! Staff, mostly volunteer I would guess, was so very helpful and kind. It was a 5 star experience all the way around! Church the way it should be! I am a member of FBCD, and have been attending nearly my whole life. My review is not based on the architecture of the new building (which I believe happens to be great), nor the temporary inconvenience the construction presents. My review is based on what the church offers to any and all who choose to attend. Dr. Jeffress teaches the message of hope and love that is taken directly from the bible. We believe in absolutes, and consequences to our actions. We believe we are all in need of a savior, and our congregation is open and public to all who wish to know what goes on here on Sunday mornings. We welcome all in love, and I encourage you to put «google» in a time out, and please come visit to see what our pastor and congregation truly believe.

I’ve attended First Baptist for over 10 years. It’s the people that keep me coming every week as we have found a family of support and encouragement. They aren’t perfect. If you are looking for gossipers then you will find them. If you are looking for hypocrites then you will find them. If you are looking for folks who act like life is perfect when it’s not then you will find them. Just like any other place. However, if you are looking for true folks who care and who seek to know God and do his will then you will find them. If you are looking for a home where the word of God is taught and sought then you will find it here.
One of the reviews mentioned the sermon, «Gay is not okay» and it sure caught a lot of attention. Many if not most of us members were taken back by it as was the media given it’s politically incorrect to say the least. Unfortunately many stopped there. Given the volatility of the topic, I understand why they stopped. However, had they come in and listened then they would have heard that yes, the bible teaches homosexuality is a sin, but so is divorce, pre-​marital sex, adultery, pornography and any other perversion that alters God’s plan of marriage. Many church goers try to make homosexuality into some unforgivable sin, but think divorce is common and okay. The pastor used the title to get everyone to show up and listen and then pointed out the hypocrisy in our views. The sermon series of about 10 various volatile topics was titled «Politically Incorrect» and though having a marquee that said, divorce is not okay would have fit the sermon, it wouldn’t have caught anyones attention. All of which made us uncomfortable, but all of which came back to what exactly the bible teaches and what it doesn’t on certain topics. Fact is, all sin separates us from the love of God and without the free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ there is no hope for any of us. Dr. Jeffress hit a very controversial topic and then when he had everyones attention, positive and negative, he shined the light on the full hypocrisy of sin that there are many and one is not necessarily worse then the other as they all separate us from God and at the end of the day isn’t that the point?
This church has met a need in our life and has allowed us to make some of our best friends while finding like minded folks who want to walk closer with God. They aren’t perfect, but in our darkest hours and those of many of our friends, it was folks from FBC Dallas who stood in the gap praying for us and meeting our literal needs because they care.
They have a great childrens department along with youth, college, singles, retirees and young married folks. There is also the largest church building campaign in recorded history going on right now. This is not an attempt at anything other than to commit to staying in the heart of the city. When churches are moving to the suburbs FBC committed and paid the dues in order to stay downtown and to do so for generations to come.
It’s not just a family of believer’s, it’s our family.

This review is actually of the head pastor. Senior Pastor, Dr. Robert Jeffress. Dr Jeffress came to visit Chicago and did a sermon at Moody Bible Church. The sermon in the Sunday pamphlet was to be Is America a Christian Nation. I wasn’t looking forward to the topic listed in the pamphlet; to be honest. Sometimes a sermon on such a topic can run rampant conservative and people like myself will either run out or just shut down the brain.
I’m glad Dr Jeffress did a topic change. I was constantly focused on his words and with the stories he told and information given, I was always interested and waiting to hear more. He is a wonderful speaker, clearly heard and his words ring true.
If I’m back in Dallas in the future I hope to stop by and see the church and hear another awesome sermon.
