the nice thing I have to say is they have a great selection of fruits and veggies at very affordable prices. What I cannot get past is that the place smells a bit and never seems that clean. There are a lot of grocery stores in close proximity of this store and I would suggest you try another.

This just about their prepared food. The food is gross and expensive. Don’t know how many times they reheat that food. Rice is hard, and meat tastes old. Groceries and everything else is good. Just the prepared food is not that great. Maybe the tamale stand is ok, but not the one they have with dishes of rice, beans, and prepared meat.

Unbiased review from a customer on 12/24/2014 pros: –taqueria had lots of delicious food at great value –lots of items were cheaper than most supermarkets –has a variety of items for sale cons: –the pork meat we bought consisted of 80% bone. kinda ruined our pozole christmas dinner –bolillos were cold despite it appeared to be warm and fresh –kinda dirty environment but its ok I really hope management reads this and make some changes to the pork meat we bought. I would rather pay more per pound and get more meat than to come home and have a giant bag of bones. Very disappointing. Otherwise everything else was decent. Not a terrible shopping experience.

This market doesn’t even deserve one star. It is the filthiest supermarket I have been to in my life. I went in looking for bottled water but the stench coming from the meat department was so strong, I thought I would pass out. I gave serious thought to calling the local health authorities. There is NOWAY things were OK with the horrific pestilence permeating throughout the store. I’ll pick up food from the street before I ever shop at this place again. And it is a shame, because the Fiesta on S Mason Rd in Katy TX is so nice and so not like this pit in North Dallas. Yuck!

I live in Oklahoma. We needed 72 pounds of crawfish for a boil. They took our order over the phone. When I arrived the crawfish were waiting and the staff in the seafood market went out of their way to pack the crawdads for the journey across the river. The vegetables were so beautiful that I went ahead and purchased the ones I needed for the boil there. Everyone and I mean everyone was so friendly. I would recommend this store to everyone.

I have visited a couple of Fiesta Mart’s when in Dallas(So this is a review of them as a whole). Some are brand new and larger and some are smaller. All of them have amazing prices. I heard about this place due to the very cheap veggies to be found here. I was amazed at everything here. The deli was overflowing with a great selection, the bakery, OMG… cheap and so so good. My bf ‘s Mom’s family are Mexican and he purchased some the Mexican cookies he grew up with so I could try them. YUMM! Everywhere you looked this place was overflowing with food. Most«budget» marts you have to pick thru the unsavory selections to get to the good stuff. NOT here, the veggies were fresh, and they have everything under the sun. Me being someone who likes to cook, I have an obsession with supermarkets, and this one tops my list. Since I do like to cook, I wanted to check out the spices. So affordable, I was shocked. It was not til I was back in Seattle, did I realize the selection at Fiesta is unlike anywhere else. So my last visit there, I bought some of the spices, only found there. They now take a «holy» place in my pantry, since I will need to go to Dallas to replace them. If you want an affordable option for your shopping while in Dallas, go Fiesta! Even if you don’t need anything, check one out and browse. I am sure you wont leave empty handed.

Cheap veggies and lots of them! From Asian to really authentic Mexican fruits and vegetables, including tunas and even huanzontles! Here you’ll find everything Mexican that you need. The baked tostadas are awesome, delicious yet fat free. Good tortillas too(masa for tamales too!).

I think this is the only Fiesta Mart that I’ll ever visit and keep visiting. Four stars because I just love their strawberry and pineapple fruit sticks and filled churros! When I was here I tried some of their Pupusas. Two for $ 3??? Oh well, I had to try them. Usually, I’ll go to a real El Salvadorean restaurant for these where they’re about a dollar a piece and more freshly made. They were just ok for something that was made previously in the day. Today, I was the lucky guy to take the last chimichanga! By no means was it the kind that I had when I was a wee lad in elementary school, but it was decent. I just wish it had a little bit more cheese in it. Remember, to check out some of their elotes, nachos, and fruit juices at the little stand by the right entry way!
