Great service and experience. Everyone was so nice and courteous. Getting in an accident is already a pain in the butt but they made it so easy. I get intimidated by body shops but everyone here was so kind. I never felt like I was getting the run around. They did a great job on my car and I highly recommend them to everyone

I recently got in a fender bender and needed a door and fender fixed and repainted. They first asked if this was an insurance claim or not. When I said now they decide to not take my car. I went here because of the good review, but this was not my experience. Looked like a little mom and pop shop that got too big for their britches.

It is rare that I write reviews but I felt compelled to help someone else who may be in the same boat I was, looking for a body shop after making a stupid mistake. After a run in with a parking barrier I was left with damage to the radiator support on a vehicle I purchased less than 6 months ago. My first stop, the dealership wanted $ 1600 to replace the radiator support and cover. After checking around with other body shops I realized that I could save a couple of hundred by having the work done elsewhere. I got 2 estimates that were within $ 50 of the one I received from Excalibur Collision Center. In the end I went with Excalibur not only because of their ratings, but also because of their service. Nick was a gem. He explained what was required for the work, gave me an estimate that was reasonable and they were able to complete the work in a day and a half. They even repaired two minor scratches I had on my bumper. While I hope to never need their services again, I will highly recommend them to anyone I know looking for quality work at a reasonable price.

I did extensive research of all the major body shops around Dallas and it is clear without a doubt that Excalibur is the best choice when considering the quality/​standard of the work, the cost, and the overall customer experience. I baby my car, so I paid attention to every detail as I went around getting estimates before deciding to go with Excalibur.
Nick was down to earth, friendly, knowledgeable, and worked with me on keeping the cost down as I was paying out of pocket. I dropped my car off on a Monday, and picked it up on Thursday. Nick called me regularly and kept me updated every step of the way, and Alex was equally helpful and professional after the repair was done.
As you can see from the pictures, the quality of the repair is top notch. If you’re unlucky enough to need body work done, save yourself the trouble and go straight to Excalibur!

Wow. These guys are heroes. Took my car in after a hit and run to fix the scratches after having a terrible time trying to get in with the places my insurance wanted me to go. These guys were insanely quick, helpful, nice, knowledgeable, just WONDERFUL. My car looks so pretty again! They made this stressful experience so much better. Couldn’t be happier.

These guys are fantastic. My car was done within one week and now it looks even better than before my accident. I had no clue about my how my coverage would work since the person who hit me had pretty terrible/​ghetto insurance… but Excalibur handled everything so smoothly regarding payment. I cannot say enough how amazing my experience was at Excalibur! As a young female, I’m always worried about going to any type of car center because so many have tried to take advantage of me. Nick at Excalibur was AMAZING! My undercarriage was dragging after getting caught on a piece of wood in the street this morning, and I called asking if this was something they could fix. Not only was Nick super friendly on the phone, but told me to come on over as soon as I could and they would take a look. Literally, I pulled up and they immediately set on looking at my car. He was super friendly, honest, and even showed me the breakdown on what his parts cost was and quoted an INCREDIBLY reasonable amount to fix my vehicle. The response and fix time was faster than when I’ve had my oil changed, and the entire time I felt like they really wanted to make me feel safe and valued from a personal perspective. No creepy vibes (hey, that’s important to us single females!), no sales tactics whatsoever, and no sky-​high fees. Just honest integrity, a genuine smile, and a willingness to help a customer no matter their budget or time. They just gained a customer for life from me, and I will recommend this amazing place to everyone and anyone I meet!

I believe this is the one of the very few body shops at Dallas that worth 5 stars. I had a car accident two weeks ago, someone hit my car and his insurance had to pay for the losses. I did a research on the internet and it looks like Excalibur Collision Center was one of the very few body shops that has 5 stars in review, so I decided to give it a shot. I sent my car to Excalibur Collision Center, Alex was very friendly and professional, he explained to me what he gonna do to fix it, how long does it takes to fix it etc, and he had another guy to send me to the rental place so I could get a rental car while Excalibur is fixing it.
Two weeks later, when i picked up my car, oh my god, it’s like the new one, none of my co workers can tell if it had car accident before. I’m from Malaysia, and had no clue what to do with car accidents in the states, but i believe the only right decision I made was to send my car to Excalibur to repair my car, you guys are awesome. Great work ethics, professionals, etc.
No one pays me to write a great review, I’m somewhat a picky person, but Excalibur Collision center, they actually worth more than 5 stars. I’d definitely recommend Excalibur Collision Center to everybody. Great job and thumbs up! :)

This place is awesome! I dropped my car off on Monday morning because I had rear ended someone and needed repairs and new reinforcement bar. Got it back Tuesday afternoon! Prices were reasonable and the staff was very friendly and even gave me a ride back to my apartment! The shop is clean and professional. I would go back in a heart beat if I ever need anything else done on my car.

First of all, let’s just talk about how amazing Nick is. He was thorough, always pleasant, remembered my name and my car, and even was nice when the insurance company claimed they sent a check to him and didn’t.
He gave awesome service, and if I have to go to a collision center again (I hope not!) but he has my business.
The work done on my car was spectacular– it looked brand new and I got it on the exact date he said I would. They also cleaned it so so well! It seriously looks like new. Great place. Support this business.

Seriously, what auto body repair shop gets consistent 5 star reviews? If you’ve used Excalibur, you’ll understand why. These guys are simply superb. You always feel like they are on YOUR side. These guys were AMAZING! Rates were great, they ordered my parts and had them painted and ready to go on, and it literally took half a day to repair my car. No need for a rental car. All the other quotes said 2 – 3 days for repair.
I had 2 door dings on both sides of the car and asked them to pull those out. $ 85 to do both!!!
My car was restored to brand new AND vacuumed in half a day!!! Whaaaaattttt??? Where in the world do you get that kind of customer service these days? I stopped and got a new car air freshener on my way home. :-))

I’ve gone to Excalibur twice to get two different cars worked on.
QUICK Review:
Added scratches on a brand new car that needed ONE scratch repaired. Broke and reinstalled a chrome trim and didn’t hide the fact that it was loose and about to fall off. Didn’t properly ‘block’ the panel before painting and the result was a wavy paint job. Hid paint drips and overspray and used wrong materials to reinstall spoiler. When spoiler started coming off they used GLUE or EPOXY (!!!) without me knowing to secure the spoiler.
Careless and damaging work on a very small job.
LONG Review:
The first time was repairing dents and repainting 70% of my 1998 Nissan Altima. Done pretty well, it cost a few thousand dollars and it made me come back.
The second was for a small scratch repair on my new car. It’s brand new, and the trunk was keyed and needed a repaint. Estimate and customer service went smoothly.
Once they finished, I noticed the ends of the spoiler lifted away from the adhesive where it should be taped securely to the trunk. I told them and they pressed down on each end HARD with their palms.
The next day: same problem — adhesive came loose and the ends lifted up.
I was preparing to redo a paint detail when I started to notice: scratches on the spoiler, a heavy scratch on the driver side mirror, light scratches on the chrome trim under the spoiler, clips broke on the chrome trim that when reinstalled made the part dangle and come loose, and I found what seemed to be tiny white spots all over the car except the front bumper. It looked like fine specks of white paint or primer, and each spot took ten second of claying to remove. The whole car was peppered with it (hundreds) on the rubber trim, plastic, glass, and paint.
It took me a few days of claying to get 80% of it out. Plastic and rubber parts can’t be saved. The clips broken on the chrome trim because it was improperly removed. It made the trim loose and it needed to be replaced. It seemed it was yanked out with such force that the plastic clips broke, and they reinstalled it without checking that it was broken and loose and dangling partly.
I came back and asked that they fix the rest of the problems including the scratches and spoiler and broken trim. They re-​taped the spoiler and they ordered a new trim. When they removed the spoiler, I noticed that underneath the spoiler, hidden, WAS PAINT DRIP AND OVERSPRAY. The spoiler hid it.
Alex said, «It’s fine… because it’s hidden» and I didn’t know what to say. They reinstalled the new trim. After they sanded down the scratches and reinstalled the spoiler, the spoiler lifted up two days later and the scratches were still visible.
This is a brand new car.
I came back and asked that they fix the scratches and fix the spoiler. They re-​taped the spoiler AGAIN, and I thought it was over. It wasn’t.
Just recently, the spoiler lifted up at the ends AGAIN. After a few minutes of research I found they used the wrong adhesive. I purchased a more expensive and stronger double-​sided tape and took off the spoiler pretty easily. Except I noticed that they EPOXIED the ends of the spoiler TO THE TRUNK. I am not kidding here.
It tore up the drip and overspray pretty effectively. I reinstalled the spoiler, but before that I had another body shop look at it. They checked the paint and said they didn’t even ‘block’ it properly because the paint job ended up wavy. When they saw that the tips of the spoiler had been glued or epoxied to try and keep it from lifting, one of their guys had his mouth open slightly.
To make a long story long: it was a small job and it was hurried with no care and shoddy work. I asked that they take care of this new car and Alex said he would take care of it like his own.
What they ended up doing:
They used the wrong double-​sided tape and they left scratches and primer/​paint overspray all over a brand new car. They broke a trim, but reinstalled it anyway. They hid paint drips and then proceeded to GLUE OR EPOXY THE SPOILER TO TRY TO KEEP IT FROM LIFTING UP when a stronger tape would have done.
I have never done this, but I will ask for my money back and have this mess of a repair fixed at another shop. I’m sure it’s going to cost me even more now just to get it fixed. Alex is a pretty nice guy, but this was one huge mess up that culminated in a ridiculous solution using glue or epoxy to secure the spoiler. Seriously. I don’t work on installing spoilers but even I know not to GLUE IT ON when all else fails.
Let’s hope he’ll do right. I’ll do an update if needed, but as it stands, this is a terrible place to get work done on your car. They ended up defacing a brand new vehicle that needed the smallest repair.

They went above and beyond to help me in every way. I received updates on on my car, they did an excellent job on repairs, they helped me with my rental vehicle, and had such positive attitudes every time we spoke. I would highly recommend Excalibur.

Let’s get the good out of the way: The body work itself was excellent, quoted honestly, and completed quickly. If you want body work done right, Excalibur is an excellent choice.
The thing is, there are many little details that matter besides the quality of a body shop’s work, and that’s where Excalibur fell short:
* In the process of removing the bumper cover, Excalibur broke the lens on one of my taillights. Fortunately, they didn’t try to claim it was already broken (I had proof from the insurance adjuster anyway), but this meant an extra 20-​mile trip to Excalibur for the replacement.
* Excalibur removed my car’s roof-​mounted antenna as part of the prep work, which is good. However, they forgot to put it back on prior to delivery – AND they didn’t remember where they’d put it. I had to go looking in every storage compartment, and I eventually found it in what was the worst place to put the tiny antenna: at the bottom of the ONE door compartment that had a bunch of other stuff in it. The center console, the glove box, all three other door compartments, and even the trunk were essentially empty. Why put the antenna in the one place it won’t be visible (and forget)?
* I found large white circles and smudges on the front and back seats on the side of the (exterior) repairs. Guys, if you’re going to set your dirty things on my seats while you work on the outside, at least remember to clean up afterward.
* Excalibur cleaned up my car prior to delivery, but they missed spots and left smudges on the glass. I realize I didn’t pay for my car to be washed, but I’ve had other (cheaper) body shops deliver my car in spotless condition – sometimes even detailed and waxed. Considering the mishaps involved and the stains left on the seats, I expected better.

SHUT UP. Just SHUT UP.
I am so stinkin pleased with the entire experience that was having my car repaired.
After sideswiping my car on the drive-​thru sign and dragging my bumper behind me through the death trap that is White Rock Coffee’s parking lot, I looked to my friends at Unilocal for guidance.
After reading Unilocal and getting quotes all over town, I felt Excalibur was the decision for me. In addition to the incredible reviews, they were the only collision center that DIDN’T suggest replacing all THREE panels that had been scraped (cut open like a can opener would be a solid comparison actually).
Alex looked at the damage when I went for a quote. He couldn’t have been nicer as he told me his exact plan of action for the suggested repairs. Where every other quote had included 3 new «xyz panels» (it was a big scrape, ok!), Alex said they’d actually use their knowledge of how things work and put the broken shit back together. Gee, what a novel idea.
About a week after getting my quote, I was in the Excalibur for the repair. My insurance covered car rental was for 30 days so I was in absolutely no rush, but Alex let me know that if I came in on a Monday morning they’d try to have me back in my car by Friday afternoon.
Thursday afternoon comes and I get a call from Nick at Excalibur. He says they’ve done the repair and are priming my car. I ask him what that means to a layperson and he says that means it’ll probably be ready Friday afternoon ;)
Of course, going as smoothly as it all did, Nick calls to say my car is ready Friday at 2. I was a bit worried all week about having a «quote», having never had a collision repair before, I didn’t know if the quote would change a whole lot or a whole little or not at all. I ask him. Original quote $ 2014, final cost $ 2027. Id’ say thats pretty damn fair and damn good. The highest I heard from big name collision places was up to $ 3600, so needless to say I was pleased with the cost as well as the service.

Oh man, I hate to do this, but its unavoidable. I really like the guys at Excalibur but…
I thought when I picked up my car that the white on the repaired portion was a bit different than the original white color on the rest of the car. I shrugged it off as weird glares in the hot Texas sun creating the difference in shade. My fiancé swore he couldn’t tell that much of a difference, so I talked myself down on it. After the past few months have gone by, I’ve realized that almost everyone I know has noticed that the white is not the right shade. It’s my fault for not thoroughly inspecting it and saying something prior to pulling it off the lot, and I also have to confess that I have not given Excalibur a chance to fix it (hence deducting 1 star instead of 2). Honestly, my insurance wouldn’t cover another rental to fix a paint job, and I can’t afford to be without a car. So the incorrect shade of white stays… I’m just a little disappointed.
I would still use Excalibur in the future, though. I still think overall they do great, solid work at an affordable price. Just make sure you examine everything that is done to make sure it meets your standards.

Thank goodness for Unilocal on this one! Someone ran into my dude’s car while he was in a restaurant and oh-​so-​helpfully decided not to leave a note. Giant scrapes all along the bumper and a little bit of scuffing/​dent on the side panel as well. Volvo dealership wanted over $ 1K to fix it, Service King wanted a few hundred less, but Excalibur said they could do it for $ 450-​ish.
And they did a great job! The tiny dent on the side panel they said they did the best they could without taking off the panel – you can’t see the damage at all but you can feel it if you know where to look. The bumper is flawless. Hopefully we never NEED to come back here but we will definitely recommend this place to others and come back if we are ever in need of bodywork again in the future.
