Enclave at Prestonwood

The apartment manager is so rude and annoying but she tries to clean up her reputation! She asks kind people to write reviews about her and her skills! But still no good review is posted. They wipe up bad reviews once a while.
Moreover, even they advertised every where from website to sign in front of office, that they have business center, they only have 3 computers with no printer or scaner and when I asked for copy she refused and referred me to public library.
Maintenance orders are also very slow and even with some kind of emergency situation they never came to my apartment. These people just care about the rent not residents. Can’t wait to move out.

Problems from the first day, should’ve have known it was only going to be downhill from there. Carpet was dirty, microwave was mismatched and would leak some sort of dust once opened, every time, and there was also no smoke detector. The very first day, after moving in, once all of my clothes were hung up, I went to the store only to return to a broken clothing rack. It would only take them TWO visits and a week before they finally fixed it for good.
The apartments themselves are low quality, not very surprising because of the price, but you can hear everything going on above and next door to you. It doesn’t end there, as the weather warmed up and the June bugs began to come out, they would constantly get in, might be the flawed design of having two patio doors for a one bedroom unit. Regardless, it was inconvenient to have to constantly kill June bugs and sweep them up.
Around the 9^th or 10^th month of my lease my refrigerator broke and I put in an order to have it fixed. Me being the lucky person I am, come home to new refrigerator after work one day. But, I wasn’t given any sort of notification, they simply threw some of my items in the sink and the rest in the new refrigerator that was absolutely filthy. It looked as if they got it from someone they had to evicts, apartment. It took me at least an hour to get it decent enough to use.
Unfortunately the issues didn’t end there for me, as I am readying to move out I ask to move out on the 3^rd, instead of the 8^th, for cost issues, obviously. I don’t want to pay $ 165 extra dollars for another week staying in these lousy apartments. What do they say? Impossible, that I gave them notice 2 months ago saying I would be out on the 8^th and there’s no way they can accommodate me. As if that weren’t trouble enough, they can only do the necessary move-​out walk through with one person and it has to be scheduled 24 – 48 hours in advanced, before 5pm. Finally, the walk through is done and guess what I am told? That the apartment isn’t clean enough and that they’ll probably charge me for the clean-​up and an old stain that was on the carpet before I moved in.
The apartment complex isn’t all that bad itself, but the office staff just doesn’t seem to enjoy their job in the least bit and they are sure to pass on the misery to anyone who goes in. Parking is a hassle and I even had my car towed once. They don’t enforce any kind of parking restrictions, so anyone with a car can park there for as long as they choose. It really grew to be hassle as the apartment gained more and more occupants. Overall, just not worth it, unless money is really tight.

Wow completely unprofessional experience. Most places let you know same day your application went through this place took 5 days and then the employee Brenda got ghetto with us on the phone. We put a $ 250 deposit and $ 100 app and admin. We called for days and they always said she would call by the end of the day. Nothing fir two days plus Saturday and Sunday. We thought we were moving but now we have less than a week to find another place. If this is how they treat people who aren’t tenants imagine how they treat residents.

I moved in from living in California, had a job and all in Dallas but couldn’t get out to tour places so I moved in sight unseen. I love this place. There was an issue with apartment not being cleaned before I moved in but the office was very apologetic and the crew came out the next day and cleaned my carpets. They even helped me put on a new shower head (nothing wrong with theirs I’m just super tall). Service requests have generally been addressed in under 12 hours when I’ve called in. Reasonable rent and very quiet. My co-​workers can’t believe how nice my place is for the price.
They allow cats, dogs and fish but nothing else. (No hamsters, ferrets, rats, etc) which will eventually be the reason I leave.
Edit: My one major problem. My neighbors are smokers and because of the construction in the building smile leaks in through the windows and around the door (also a draft there) as well as though the spaces around pipes and a hold in my pantry. Thus when I come home from a twelve or thirteen hour shift my place smells like cigarette smoke. Which sucks BIG time.

I am moving out of this place as fast as I can. It’s dirty, the office workers are 7 – 11 caliber. It’s like a gangster paradise here, lock up everything! They will nickel and dime the hell out of you also. Worst apartment experience in my life. This place is dirty, loud, unprofessional, and dangerous. Don’t Move Here!!!
