Been stopping in this store for at least 25 yrs. Longivety in this industry means they are doing something right. I love flax and things u can’t find just anywhere. Always leave with something. Great staff there if u need them not pushy. Great sales unique offerings!

The name & building exterior is misleading. I went looking for something for my nieces in their 20s. Clothes were for old broads like me but I wouldn’t buy them. They were expensive without designer labels. May as well go to North Park.

Been a favorite since I was 16. Still super cute… kinda disappointed it is more «up-​scale» than it used to be… but…wide variety of of eclectic styles! Love so much flax and cotton… many actually made here in the USA! Staff is sweet and very helpful. Sale rack… WOW!

I think like many, I was fooled by this store. The outside just screams «funky and hip». There’s even a mannequin sitting down outside that greets you. Sadly, as you walk in emeralds to coconuts gives off less of a young and fun vibe, and more of a bourgeois housewife vibe. Seriously, I heard the longest conversation over Indonesian bracelets that I ever want to hear. With that said, I did come in during sale time, and found a super cute hat with a bow on it for $ 7. Personally speaking, I probably wouldn’t seek out this store again, but if I happened to be near Henderson I might pop in. A place for more mature ladies, it seems.

I really wanted this place to be a hit. I’ve driven past this cute little shop a couple of times and finally made time to go in today.
Let’s first start with parking. There were 4 – 5 cars there in the «parking lot», yeah not really a parking lot, but it was already kind of crowded. Thank god my car is small.
The style they presented outside was sort of modern and hip, and when I walked inside, I saw older people and I thought, uh oh. They had 80% older style of clothing, and 20% with maxi skirts with some okay jewelry and scarfs. They had cool hats though. But most of their stuff are pretty outdated. Not to mention a little expensive. Sure, expensive means different things to people. For me, if it’s not fashionable and it’s $ 50-​$ 60 average, then that’s pretty expensive.
The lady at the cashier was really friendly, though. It’s a really cute place to visit if you are around, but don’t expect to spend the whole day in there shopping because it’s pretty small and the styles are limited to certain ages. I’m in my mid 20’s, and I can’t say I would be able to find something for myself.

I visited this shop strictly based on Unilocal reviews, however I can’t say I was impressed. You pull up to this neon, green painted building, which I kinda like. Parking is very slim, but I parked across the street, not knowing if this was a part of their parking area. I took a chance .
I walked in and was greeted by a kind woman at the register. Smells great in the store! Lovely incense smells. I love incense! So i peruse the tiny areas of the store, and unfortunately, everything seemed a bit «mature». With a name like Emeralds to Coconuts, I thought this was about to be vintage heaven or consignment heaven! Not the case. I think they have great items for women in their 40s and up. They had a wide variety of lounging dresses. I am totally into consignment, and I know a good find. They did have a great variety of swimwear, mostly 50s style, which I do like those. Great variety of sizes too! I didn’t buy anything but their lovely incense for $ 4 a pack. I will definitely go back for that .
Overall, I think the store would be better, if they incorporated more hip clothing or more suited for 20s to 30s.

I could not be more pleased with my new pinup style swim suit! I am in love with it! Holley the manager special ordered the swim just for me since I am a more bustier girl and mentioned I needed it before my birthday June 23^rd and low and behold, it came today! Thanks also to the staff especially Jessica for bearing with me and calling me back in a timely manner. I will continue to shop and rave about this place! Thank you Emeralds to Coconuts!!!

Dollars to donuts, you are going to find something you like at Emeralds to Coconuts.
They carry a wide range of sizes and a broad selection of styles, from embroidered maxi-​dresses to 1950s-​style poofy-​skirted sundresses. (I know because I bought both in one day.) There are also patchwork hippie-​type skirts, Mexican-​style embroidered blouses, tank dresses, Chinese slippers, various styles of purses, a rainbow of scarves, and so on.
The staff is very nice and helps you find things as needed.
One thing to note, depending on your level of modesty: the dressing room is just one big room, so whoever needs to use it all heads back. If this doesn’t jive with your personal rules, you might have problems. Doesn’t matter to me, but it might weird out some people.
Overall, unusual selection at quite reasonable prices. I found dresses for the cost of department store clothes that are much more unique. One of the shops I miss having access to now that I don’t live in Dallas. If you do, make the most of it!

I’ve found so many cool things @ ETC! If you love Hats… this is a Great Place for That Unusual, One of a Kind Find! The jewelry is really fun & interesting. I like the Lacy Beautifully Detailed Dresses they carry. It’s defiantly Hippie Eclectic Chiqe! All in All I like ETC… Just wish they’d ditch the incense.

Emeralds to Coconuts just screams crazy vintage clothing to me but when I walked in I was fooled. There were a few racks here and there of solid colored flowing skirts, basic tops and a section dedicated to various incenses. The store has a selection of clothing that is hippie meets southern for mostly the curvy ladies. They also have a pretty nice size collection of jewelry but there more on the high side and accessories such as huge belts with rhinestones, handbags and cowboy hats. This store just isn’t for my fashion taste but at least I satisfied my curiosity.

Hellola! What a hidden gem right under our noses. This is a truly groovy place.
If you’ve driven down Henderson in Dallas, chances are you have seen Emeralds to Coconuts. It is a bright green building, but I had no idea how many hidden treasures lie inside.
I was lured in by the sign in their window touting plus sizes. (Though they carry all sizes.) There I found fun, fashionable finds that were not so blah-​blah mainstream as some of the other old-​lady plus-​size stores. They have Flax, which I love, amazing jewelry, cute shoes, awesome jean selection and even home accessories.
Upon entering, take a moment to gaze up – no not at the stars – and take in all the ethereal delights that have taken flight from the ceiling.
Dressing rooms: You share, but they do have a bathroom for those who prefer privacy.
Bargain secret: Head to the back room in the right of the store to find the latest slashed prices. And keep an eye out for porch sales. When I see tents go up, I know it’s time to save a lot. Though, I don’t see them often.
Parking: They have a lot right in front of the store and there is street parking on Homer (the cross street).

They have a great selection of Match Point linen and Flax. They are great about calling when new items arrive. The only caveat is go early if you are allergic to incense. I get a headache every time I go in but it is worth the trip. Linen in Texas is the ticket for the summer, fall and spring! Pretty funky place. Very personable folks working there.

I must admit I was a bit confused by this store upon first entering. I’ve always passed by the green building with random clothes hanging outside thinking it to be a vintage shop. Not so.
I was greeted with the smell of incense when I walked in. That made me pretty happy since my hippie roots require me to love such smells. Mmmm sandalwood. I snapped out of my trance and realized this place was nothing like I thought it was. Incense? Body cremes? Hobo purses? Whaaa? They even had a selection of neon colored flip flops with feathers on them So THIS is where they sell those! Huh.
I think this store caters to plus sizes, and it looked to have some comfortable airy wear. Good summer stuff. I would definitely pick through it though. Some stuff was not so fashionable. On the other hand, some stuff looked pretty cute. I guess it just depends on your style. Oh and if you are on the hunt for Mary Jane’s, this is the place! They had a huuuge selection in the back of red flowered ones as well as the classic black style. Good. to. know.
