Meet the Business Owner

Chef Jay V.

Business Owner

Growing up in central Massachusetts, Jay Valley knew at an early age that he wanted to be a chef. His Italian heritage and Regoninni family recipes inspired him to pursue a culinary career.

As in many Italian homes, the kitchen in the Valley home was the center of the family.

«There was always a pot of something on the stove. It always impressed me that mom would start from nothing and create this fabulous meal,» explains Valley. «She has always been my inspiration. To this day, I am still trying to perfect her spaghetti sauce recipe. I’m getting closer, but I’m just not there yet.»

Chef Jay’s natural ability to create dishes and new ideas is what has always inspired him in the kitchen. His talent and pride in his work has translated into delicious food at eatZi’s for more than 11 years.

His goal is to ensure that eatZi’s stays true to its concept, style and vision. The eatZi’s family and its bevy of devoted fans look forward to the tastes and talents of Jay for many years to come.
