Dolfin Swim School located in Dallas, Texas is a world class swim school for the Park Cities, Preston Hollow, Lake Highlands and Lakewood areas. Our swim school provides swimming lessons for all ages, from cherubs to champions. Our approach to swim instruction is simple. We emphasize safety, skill-​building and fun for all of our «dolfins!»

We strive to remain experts in lifetime water safety, provide a world class swimming educational facility and provide positively outrageous service.

Not only do we offer swimming lessons, but we also offer Dallas Baby Swim classes beginning at the age of three months, a competitive swim team for ages 5 – 17, birthday swim parties, weekly theme parties and much more.

History

Established in 1980.

Linda DeSanders, a native to Dallas, Texas, is the founder of Dolfin Swim School and a Master Instructor of both Dolfin Swim School and the Dallas Dolfins competitive swim team. She has a cousin who tragically lost her baby due to a bathtub drowning years ago. That life-​changing event lead to a lifetime commitment by Linda to insure a constant message of hope by saving lives through parent education, practicing daily swimmer safety skills and teaching water safety education in the Dallas, Texas community to preschools and for Mother’s Day Out programs.

Business Owner

Linda DeSanders, owner of Dolfin Swim School, is a Dallas, Texas native who graduated from SMU with an All– Level teaching certificate and a BA in physical education. Before starting Dolfin Swim School, she taught P.E. at Grace Academy, Jackie Sorenson’s Aerobic Dancing for 11 years, Jazzercise for 3.5 years, and even had a small stint working at a wholesale jewelers. Swimming was always Linda’s passion, so she made what she loved to do her daily life. Linda now has 40 years of swimming instruction experience, swam on a Masters team for 25 years, and coached the championship Dallas Dolfins competitive swim team for 10 years.
