Discount Tire Store – Dallas, TX

These guys were piled high and deep with cars, and still got my car out lickity split, as promised! Great place. I had lunch at taco cabana (there are tons of good places to wait) and came out to my car waiting for me. They were fast. Great prioritizers, even when waiting in line. So fast!

Had a flat tire with a nail in it that I needed repaired, on a Saturday no less. Went to Discount Tire, thanks Unilocal!!!The customer service was outstanding, the waiting area clean the wait short and they fixed my tire at no charge. I now have a go-​to-​place for tires. The flat tire could have ruined my day, but thanks to the Discount Tire, tire fixed and day saved.

Just as Carlos M. said, they are very customer oriented and the customer service is great. I go to this location fairly often. Whether I need new tires, need a flat repaired, tires aired up or just simply need my tires rotated. I like the fact that they do not charge you if you just need your tires fix, aired up or rotated. They will always have my business because of their customer service and the fact that they are quite competitive in their prices. If you are in a time crunch I suggest calling first to see if there is a wait or if you prefer, make an appointment.

So im 22 years old, never bought tires myself before, just moved to texas from illinois and been through a terrible day. I came here because Goodyear tried to sell me tires for $ 140 tires. Walked in here and the explained to me the different tires and prices. They were paitent with me and walked me through the different types of tires they had for my truck. At the end of the day i paid $ 120 for each tire (they took some money off wben i asked if they could haha). Overall great service.

Discount Tire, and particularly Carlos Rodriguez, the manager, were absolutely top notch. They exhibited exceptional service on the phone and when I came to the shop. They gave me same day turn around on hard to find tires. they had them driven over from their warehouse in the morning, so i could have them that afternoon. Their pricing matched the best prices i found anywhere. They worked to save me money and get my funds back from the tire manufacturer on the bad tire I was having replaced. EXCELLENCE!

Well, I’ve always said that whenever I get tires, it’s going to most likely come from Discount tires. This experience was no different.
First off, I got in my truck and was going to go to the store when I had the dreaded «non-​conventional) sound come from your car. What the heck?! At first, I thought the rear brakes had locked up but it was a flat tire, of course. What made it worse was that I think I might have had that tire slashed. It was a pretty clean cut on the sidewall right in the middle between the tread and the rim. But I diverge.
I get on the internets and start checking out tire prices. Luckily this is one of the tires I didn’t just buy last year. It’s an older tire, but it still has a lot of life left in it. I’m pretty bummed.
I go to this Discount tire and they hook me up. I wanted a matching Hankook tire but they don’t have it in stock. Instead they have the Kumho. It’s a better tire for $ 4 more. I ask if they’ll price match the tire to the Hankook and they say yes. They also convince me to get the tire replacement certificates. He says, «If you get the certificates, I’ll knock it down to $ 7. That’s a great deal. I struggle with it and finally give in. I drop off the old wheel with him and tell him I’ll be back after I run some errands.
When I return, the tire is ready, they load it up and off I go. Later, when I get home, I notice that he charged me $ 11 for the certificate. *sigh*. Of course, you never expect them to over charge you but they did. It’s partly my fault for not checking him. *double sigh*. I’ll probably drop by later this week and see if they can refund me the difference. Maybe I“ll try and get the whole replacement certificate cost back completely. I’m rethinking my decision. Never gotten them before.
Otherwise, the service was great. Probably one of the better experiences I’ve had with Discount.

Probably the BEST discount tire I’ve been to in Texas. WONDERFUL WONDERFUL customer service. They didn’t try to upsell me, thoroughly explained to me why the Pirelli tires would last longer than the Falken tires and didn’t pressure me into choosing the higher priced one. (I chose Pirelli anyway) :p
Came in at 8:18am and left out at exactly 9:30! :D

Without a doubt the best service I have had at a tire shop. On a freshly serviced and rim repaired Nissan GTR Brandon took great care to find a valve stem leak leak, explain the process and not scratch the work just completed. Very professional and highly recommended.

Getting new tires is not something I typically look forward to. But when your tires are looking a little shabby and stripped of all their traction, it’s time to make the trek to have them replaced. Let’s face it — no one enjoys dropping dollars on something necessary and critical to your safety, like tires. But it is something we all have to do in our lives. Life can be a drag sometimes.
But when that time comes, you want the experience to go as smoothly as possible. And Discount Tires (or maybe Big D Tires?, according to Eric C) is always my go-​to tire stop. The staff is friendly enough, but more importantly their speedy. You can enjoy a complimentary bottled water and coffee while waiting no longer than 30 minutes for a brand new set of tires. Another perk I enjoy is the service as they aren’t intimidating with their car knowledge. Never did I feel out of place, because I didn’t know every detail about auto mechanics. From what I vaguely know, the prices did seem very reasonable and they are great about following through and their warranties, discounts, and deals. Now I drive safely on wheels that aren’t about to explode at any moment!

good deal on tires after rebate for Michelin defenders. 70 & 30 with their careone credit offer with no interest for 6 months. store manager is pretty amicable and knowledgable on product and financing options. not pushy and was helpful. The reason for 3 stars is that they didn’t explain the extra charges they included and whenever that happens it seems dishonest. I had to drive back in to get a refund on the items I didn’t want in which they had to cancel the first transaction and do a second transaction which is a big waste of time.

These guys do a great job for next to nothing. I got tires for our Infiniti FX35 and the dealership wanted $ 350 each for new, another used place wanted $ 100 each and these guys got me tires that looked brand new (75+% remaining tread) for $ 45 each. They were quick and friendly. Just make sure and check the tire over that it’s what you are looking for as not all used tires are the same.
