I hate to post a negative review but these women did a haphazard job on my wedding dress. They sewed cups into the top unevenly and called a very uneven bustle«finished» and told me it was the best they could do. I ended up going to Unique Tailor(on Mockingbird and Greenville) to get it all repaired and thank goodness they saved the day. This shop(Diana’s) seems to get so much wedding business(they are next door to Terry Costa) that they don’t care about quality. It’s a shame. Diana is lovely but her associates(Angela was one specifically) don’t treat the clientele warmly or give them the time of day. Go elsewhere and save yourself the stress.

I have been looking for a GOOD tailor for sometime and per the urging of a coworker, I checked out Diana’s Tailor. Not only was I so thankful she directed me here, but I have officially made Diana’s my only tailor. I took in a formal beaded full-length gown that needed complete altering. I needed several sizes taken in and needed to turn this dress into a strapless dress. First, I was fitted and asked to come back in one week to see the progression. When I returned and tried the dress on, I was so pleased with it I couldn’t believe they got it right on the first try. Secondly, this dress was fully beaded and they were able to repair many areas of the dress where the beading had worn off. They kept to the design of the dress, though changing the concept and allowed me to truly relish keeping this dress in my repertoire of formal ware. I feel that the staff were friendly and very helpful. If you have any formal attire that needs detailed altering, I would HIGHLY suggest taking that item here.

I paid over $ 70 to have a short casual party dress altered to fit me, and experienced a shoddy makeshift changing room, less than average handiwork and the dress still doesn’t fit exactly right. I’m so glad I didn’t take my bridal gown here! The customer service is average. I won’t be back here, and will continue looking for a reliable tailor who won’t rip me off.

She has been wonderful in fitting suits, dresses, and pants for my work wardrobe. I’ve recently lost 25 lbs and she was able to alter my most expensive items down to my new smaller size. I usually stop by weekdays at lunch and there are 3 – 4 people in there looking for alterations. Just be patient and she’ll get to you and I promise the wait is worth it!

Diana has been my «go-to» tailor for 10 years now. She is reliable and has a good sense of humour. I go for routine things(e.g., hemming trousers) as well as more complex items such as getting a suit jacket fitted properly. Her prices are reasonable and work is always good quality. If something needs to be redone, she will get it redone and not say or even imply«that’s good enough.» Based on the pictures on the wall, it seems she gets some of the«who’s who» clientele but even everyday folks like myself get good service. Notice: You should know that I am K.J.‘s husband since hers is the only other review of Diana on here!

Diana did a wonderful job on my wedding dress. I came to her after another seamstress(recommended by Circle Park Bridal) did a terrible job and refused to fix the issues with my dress. In hindsight, I should have started with Diana. She listened to what my concerns were and she made small adjustments over several fittings. She had to tear out the side seams and the zipper in the back and put the dress back together. It turned out beautiful and was a very happy bride on my wedding day in July 2011. Given how many changes she made on the dress, her price was still lower than the original place I took it. I definitely recommend her for any wedding dress alternation.
