Business Owner

Mary-​Frances Hurt, owner of DFW Events, has been the mastermind behind the company since she founded it in 1996. Her outstanding reputation in the wedding and event planning industry is a direct correlation to the continued success of DFW Events. To this day, Mary-​Frances is the fearless leader of the team and her abilities to think outside the box and to never rest on her laurels are what have pushed the company to become one of the premier boutique event planning firms in Dallas. Her bubbly nature and enthusiasm bring a distinct positive energy to the office that each and every client can feel when they step in the door. Outside of DFW Events, Mary-​Frances enjoys spending time with her three beautiful children and husband, often at their family restaurant, Fat Daddy’s. A proud Southern Methodist University alumni, ‘MF’ also enjoys traveling, yoga, and listening to Jason Mraz.
