Dallas Petal Pusher

This is the worst florist I’ve ever dealt with. When my father tried to order me flowers for my birthday, he clearly stated my name and address and asked them to be delivered on a Tuesday. As the flowers were supposed to be a surprise since my birthday wasn’t until later that week, he called me on my actual birthday (which was that Friday) and asked if I had received the flowers because he was surprised he hadn’t heard from me earlier in the week. I told him that I had not received them and after I spent a lot of time tracking them down, it turns out that Dallas Petal Pushers (DPP) wasn’t thorough enough when taking the order because they spelt my name incorrectly (to the extent that it didn’t event resemble my actual name) and didn’t write down the name of my business. So, when they went to deliver the flowers on Tuesday as requested, they carelessly left them at another place of business because they didn’t record the correct delivery information when the order was placed. When the place of business realized that no one worked there by the name on the delivery card, they called DPP to tell them the incorrect delivery address, but DPP did NOTHING about it. So the place of business held on to the flowers in hopes that DPP would come to pick them up to correct the delivery. But there was no follow-​up by DPP. Finally, when I was alerted of the missing flowers on that Friday (my birthday), I tracked the flowers down because DPP said that they had assigned a nearby place of business as the delivery address since they carelessly recorded it in the first place. I found the flowers and called DPP to demand a refund because 4-​day old flowers are unacceptable, especially when you pay a large amount of money for a beautiful bouquet and it was not your fault that the delivery wasn’t fulfilled correctly. They refused to refund the purchase unless they could get the flowers back, but why would they want 4-​day old flowers back? So they could deliver them to a different innocent client? I wasn’t going to let someone else be victimized by them so I refused and called my credit card company. Overall, their customer service was completely unacceptable and it was very difficult to communicate with them. There was no manager on duty and they couldn’t tell me when a manager would be present. As someone who works in the customer service industry, I was appalled with how they were willing to treat their customers, particularly when it was their mistake in the first place.
Then, just yesterday, a family member sent me a bouquet of balloons from DPP as a thoughtful apology for a belated birthday present. It was an ironic coincidence that they were from DPP. The balloons arrived between 2−3pm (they actually got the address correct this time and fulfilled the proper delivery… wow!). I thought it was such a genuine gesture from my family member and was excited to enjoy the balloons for a few days, but when I saw them this morning, they were completely deflated. The balloons didn’t even last 14 hours, even though they were air conditioned. I understand that balloons deflate quickly, but they should last for 20 – 24 hours at least. I was once again very disappointed with the quality of DPP. Please do not use them.

I ordered the pretty in pink arrangement at 9 am and they were delivered by lunch time same day. Beautiful arrangement with very fresh flowers… I will definitely use them again in the future.

Incredibly helpful and friendly! Got a great deal on my flower order for my wedding reception and they threw in a few extra flowers at no cost! Highly recommend

HORRIBLE Company… don’t ever purchase flowers from here, ever.
1. I ordered flowers online and they shipped them to the billing address.
2. When I called to inform them, the MANAGER of the company argued with me, never apologized, and wouldn’t even offer to send the flowers to the correct address without paying extra money!
3. Website doesn’t work correctly and they want to blame the customer for not calling to follow up.
Worse customer service I have ever experienced.

I was very disappointed in this service. I ordered flowers for Mother’s Day and I received a confirmation email and everything. When my mom called and said she still had not received anything, I gave them a call and the customer service was abysmal. The lady told me she couldn’t find the order. Though it was clearly charged to my card she couldn’t give me a refund. While I understood that it was a big holiday and they probably would drop a few orders, she was not apologetic and did not offer a refund or other options. Worse experience I’ve had with a florist.

I love flowers. I love getting flowers, I love sending flowers. In the past, I’ve used online companies but have been burned a couple of times on deliveries and the quality of the flowers has been sorely lacking. Unfortunately for me, finding a local florist who is dependable and affordable –with pretty flowers– is proving to be much more difficult than I expected.
Enter Dallas Petal Pusher. Based on the (mostly) positive reviews, I decided to give them a try for a friend’s birthday. Since the Unilocal app offers a 10% discount for online orders that can only be activated with a check-​in (wft?) and since I didn’t really know what kind of flowers I wanted, I decided it was worth a physical visit.
The sweet lady that helped me confirmed she could offer me 10% off and helped me pick out a customized bouquet based on an in-​stock bouquet in their cooler. I made two changes — no Stargazer Lilies and add a sprig of orchids. Even though I had to pay $ 10 extra for the orchids, she assured me this wouldn’t be a problem and that the Stargazer Lilies would be replaced by something else that fit with the other flowers (I didn’t mind them making that decision for me).
Based on the bouquet I saw in the cooler and the $ 90 receipt in my purse, I was confident that my girlfriend’s bday vase would be stunning.
Based on the photo text I received the next day, my customized bouquet didn’t quite match my expectation. It was much smaller than the cooler bouquet and there were several Stargazer Lilies. Whomp whomp.
Don’t get me wrong, it was a beautiful arrangement that was delivered exactly on time. But it was so highly overpriced that I’ll be continuing my search for a local florist I can call my own.

Placed an order for a funeral; it was delivered same day within Hrs. Tony was very helpful, nice and attentive. Everyone loved the arrangement, it was more than I had expected in such short notice. It really brightened a very somber & sad situation. Thank u Tony!

Do not use. Unreliable.
We initially went to Petal Pushers and the woman we met with was very nice. She helped us with a custom arrangement for a 25^th Anniversary my girlfriend and I were planning for her parents. We wanted 10 arrangements and she made the sample which looked great.
We told her that we needed it ready at 10am on Saturday as we were driving out of town. She up-​sold on the fact that she would have them ready, arranged, packed, and ready to go instead of us trying to put them together ourselves. We said that was perfect.
Saturday arrives. We show up at 10am and the door is locked. 10 min goes by. No one there. 20 min. No one. Finally after 45 min the light turns on and we enter. The woman who had helped us earlier that week enters. She has not even STARTED doing the arrangements yet. She is basically rushing to get them done and they look nothing like the sample of which we had pictures. She rushed through them and when we commented she made excuses and basically said she would change them. We had already paid upfront (mistake I know) and would not offer refund or discount of any kind.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and UNRELIABLE! DO NOT USE THEM!

I attempted to use Petal Pushers for my wedding. Initially, Toni was very helpful and friendly, despite being hard to get ahold of. When we met, she promised a quote would be ready the following Monday. The following Wednesday, she called to verify my email address. When I still hadn’t received anything a full week later, I called. She said something along the lines of, «we are really busy remodeling. You’ll have to bear with me,» with an annoyed tone. Then she was never to be heard from again. Good thing I didn’t wait around for her quote… or apology.
Also, the answering machine is always completely full, so it’s impossible to leave a message.
Go somewhere else!

Number one they are very expensive. But I have no problem paying the money if I’m getting my money’s worth. I walked in two days before valentines day and talked to a woman named Toni. I asked for a dozen roses to be ready 2pm in the afternoon on Valentines day. It cost me about $ 105 for this arrangement. I also asked that they be wrapped in a bouquet and not put in a vase. Toni assured me that she would take care of me and wrap it in a real nice bouquet and that I would love it. I come back on Valentines day and another girl approached to help me. I handed her my receipt and I said I’m here to pick up an order. She searched the whole shop for my order and could not find it. She then asked another employee to help her find the order. He went off and looked for it as well. Meanwhile with my receipt in hand she went and approached another customer to assist them. 10 minutes or so pass by and still my order cannot be found. Finally the second employee that was asked to find my order carried it out from the back. A dozen roses arrangement in a vase. Just as I had asked them NOT to do. Awful florist shop. I will not be going there again and if you like dealing with employees that can speak English I would advise that you avoid this place as well.

Not to be trusted on a busy holiday till they work the bugs out.
Maybe this is a new management, but doesn’t live up to the old hype. They were totally blindsided by Valentines day. I called in the delivery order two days ahead, and billing went thru smartly. I paid more than the last florist I used, so I expected primo service.
Delivery did not arrive by end of day. Phone went to a full voice mailbox. Had to walk in physically to get them. They were totally slammed. Maybe internet orders worked better than they expected?
That said, they responded to my plight and set me up an order while I waited. Thanks to Antonia for her care. Saved me from disaster, thus TWO stars (not one). They may be worth a look another day, though. Please prove this is a fluke.

I ordered a flower arrangement a couple weeks ago for a dear family friend for the loss of her mother. The order must have hit a technological snafu, because it turns out it was deleted somehow and never made it through to the store. I didn’t find out until about a week later that they never received flowers and upon calling the store to find out what happened to my order, I received courteous and attentive customer service. They sent the flower bouquet out that day and with free shipping. I give them 5 stars for resolving the issue in a timely manner. Thanks Petal Pusher!

I ordered flowers off the website last week and was super pleased with the arrangement that my friend received, the flowers were fresh and high quality. I was so impressed i stopped in the store later to check it out for myself. They have an awesome selection of seasonal items and arrangements as well as potted plants and even locally made gift items.

Absolutely beautiful arrangements! They have the old Dallas standbys beat in terms of quality and price. Their staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Plus, their in-​house arranger is a floral guru! Very impressed with the product and service.

I love this little neighborhood florist! I’ve never been a purchaser, but thanks to my sweet man I have been a recipient on many occasions. I remember driving by one time and saying I loved the name, and if he wanted to get me flowers, I’d love to get them from there.
Since then I have received some of the most beautiful arrangements I’ve ever seen from this place. Dr Delphinium who?! Call Petal Pusher next time you want to send flowers! I can’t speak to price, but I can assure you that your lady will much appreciate getting flowers from a local florist over that TERRIBLE proflowers crap! Nothing like getting a UPS delivery with a box and a vase and a DIY floral arrangement on your birthday. Boo! No, what she REALLY wants is a sweet lady to ring the doorbell and say, «Hello, is it your birthday? These are for you!»
Every time they’ve been GORGEOUS, healthy, not a petal out of place — and even the «filler» flowers are huge, bright and beautiful. My dude knows nothing about flowers, so I can attest to how helpful they must be over the phone — I think he tells them one flower he *thinks* I like and they put it all together. I will try to post some pics of the modern, sexy flowers I have received. These aren’t your grandmas rose bouquets, they really have a knack for creating something memorable.

Bethany made us the cutest arrangement of flowers for Mother’s Day! The people who work there are so nice and boy do they have some stories to tell! Hehehe. Oh they have really awesome smelling candles there. I bought one and it is burning in my apt. right now! They also have cards, frames, baby gifts, and pre-​made snack baskets! I don’t think I’v ever been in another flower shop before. is that weird? So I don’t know if their prices were reasonable. sorry! just look at their website. Super cute location, grade A customer service, and the flowers aren’t too shabby either!
