Service was horrible they didn’t have any spicy chicken or tenders. .only 2 biscuits and it wasn’t even near closing time. .I have 2 stars bc the mild chicken that they did have was crispy and good!

What can I say about this place? I went here solely because I saw only 1 star reviews! I know, I know… it’s just that 1 star reviews intrigue me, because I have a hard time thinking a place can be THAT bad. I mean, really? 1 star? ugh. Anyway, this place definitely earns it’s 1 star! haha. The other reviews cover some, but I got fried chicken with a couple sides. THEN, I went to the local QuikTrip where I threw the chicken away. What can I say? The chicken had been sitting for a while. It was lukewarm, falling apart, and old. The roll was a stale rock, and the mashed potatoes were… just bad. The gravy definitely had been sitting for a while because when it was served to me, it was separated. Ya know… water on top, powder on bottom sort of thing? Now, I didn’t go in, but I did place a «book by it’s cover» judgement on this place, and will definitely not be returning. With the food they serve, I can’t imagine what kind of dirt that place is filled with. Guess that’s why it wasn’t super busy at lunch. Needs improvement. A lot of improvement.

This place is a shameful, disgusting, disgrace. I came to Dallas for a workshop(Teacher) and ate at this Churchs since it’s close to my hotel. I’ve always loved Churchs Chicken, but this particular Churchs was shameful. I asked for my favorite, spicy three-piece legs and thigh with a roll. They took my money, then told me no spicy for 15 minutes. So I said I’d take the regular as it looked good under the light. The man then SLLLLIPPPPED three pieces from some dull-chrome heated bin, SLLLLIPPPPPED it into a sack, and passed that to me. I was idiot enough to take it, go back to my hotel, then discover oily, old, nasty chicken with a sickeningly stale roll. Obviously, I am quite angry, and still very hungry. I’m not going back over to Mockingbird Lane tonight, but I do intend to go by there tomorrow. That TRICK of pulling nasty old thighs(no leg) from some hiding spot will never happen to me again. I know there are good Churchs near me in San Antonio, so they can be edible and quite tasty. The Churchs at Mockingbird Ln is a disgrace, dishonest, and itching for a lawsuit if they keep passing off that old, ugly chicken.

Pretty terrible overall. The Drinks were mixed and were pure syrup, the Sweet tea tasted like a sugar cube and I am pretty sure it gave me diabetes. The mashed potatoes with brown gravy was soupy, the chicken was okay at best and the biscuits lead the pack with a ‘meh’. The gravy tasted like 90% water and 10% gravy and looked the part as well. Not only that but someone dropped a cup of water near the door and it sat there for a good 15 minutes and remained unattended to even after we left.
