We had a really big (REALLY BIG!) Oak tree that was over 180 years-​old and shaded over ½ of our house. The tree began leaning against our house and had a dead spot in the center of it so it had to come down. I started reading reviews on local tree service companies and Chippers had the best, by far. I also confirmed their good work on Angie’s List and Google and they had the same great reviews on those sites. I met with Varo so he could give me an estimate. He got there on-​time and on the day I called. He was very knowledgeable about trees and was sad to see such a big, old tree have to come down but he agreed there was nothing that could be done to save it so it had to go.
The crew showed up at 8:30 on that Friday to begin work and by lunch time they had well over ½ of the tree removed. It was raining so my wife allowed the crew to eat lunch in our garage and the guys were so considerate that they swept the garage after eating! We also have some chickens in our back yard and one got out while the men were cutting down the tree and two of the guys helped my wife catch the loose chicken and put it back in its cage. This is the kind of «above and beyond» service we experienced throughout the whole job. When they finished, they blew all the leaves off the roof and out of the gutter, raked the back yard and made it difficult to even tell they had been there.
I HIGHLY recommend Chippers Tree Service and can tell you that they have won a customer for life. Stop looking for anyone else, you’ve found the best tree service company in the DFW Metroplex!

Fast, easy and efficient.
–Called the office to send someone out to survey our trees and give a quote. Verro was super nice and professional and gave me a reasonable price. I also got a quote from another company but decided to go with Chipper Trees bc they were professional. The office person, Megan, always picks up their phone or calls back within a few hours. Unlike the other tree guy, I actually received an itemized quote, which was emailed to me via iPad right away on the spot.
— Scheduling was easy. I was given a two hour window. It took the crew less then two hours to cut down a two story bradford pear tree and one crêpe mertyl, trim a live oak and pecan, and blow leaves off the roof. They had a chipper to break down the branches and they cleaned up any stray leaves and branches. By the end, it looked like nothing happened.
The crew was also super nice, professional and fast!

Chippers just finished at my home. What an awesome job the men did trimming my 12 year old Live Oak. They removed and cleaned the area where they trimmed. My tree is shaped perfectly. The crew was very perfessional and fast. I will recommend this great company to all my family and friends. Very reasonable price and kept in contact with me. I’ve used Chippers 3 times already and they’re still AMAZING. They show up to do the work, they’re professional, they don’t damage the yard in the process and they clean up afterwards. I cannot say enough good things about them… and anyone thinking about tree services should give them a call. I’m actually about to call them for more work now.

Varo and his team did a fantastic job taking care of our trees, and at a very reasonable price. From the initial consultation visit to the final inspection, I really felt like they cared about our satisfaction. I will definitely call Chippers again when I need more work done!

I recently checked the 5 star tree services that service the Grapevine area. I settled on Chippers after meeting with Varo, their manager and sales rep. He was very thorough and extremely courteous. Their pricing was very reasonable and came in under the competition. I hired them for two homes that I own in Grapevine. Once hired, they arrive on time and the crew were the nicest happiest guys I’ve ever worked with. They were all very efficient and did an exceptional job. Fast, clean, professional, and priced right.
They did an amazing job trimming an overgrown and large Live Oak. It was too close to the roofline and also blocked light from coming in my windows. Those problems are now in the past. About six gentlemen worked for maybe two hours total. The yard was full of branches for all of fifteen minutes before they eliminated all the evidence! So fast. They blew off the roof, deck, and front porch too.

I used Chippers Tree Service last week and I was very pleased. The office representative Meagan was efficient and nice arranging an initial meeting for estimate. Rudy was so helpful and after
listening to our needs gave me an estimate and we arranged for the work to be done the following week. The crew came two hours early and by the time I got home they had done a beautiful job and the yard was cleared of all debris — even small twigs and leaves! I will definitely use this company again!

It was amazing watching these guys trim the tree and remove the dead limb that was hanging over the driveway. Seeing that once mighty foot and half in diameter limb come crashing to the ground with a thud was humbling and exactly why I called. In 30min it was as if nothing had ever happened, they even cleaned up the driveway and yard getting everything back to normal. I will definitely use them for all my tree service needs. Can’t recommend them enough.

We could not be happier with the work performed by Chippers. The initial visit included not only a quote but also a general assessment of the trees and bushes on our new property. The team cut & removed a tree from our backyard that was planted virtually on the house, cut & removed a row of overgrown bushes, and trimmed & shapes another over-​sized bush. Chippers Tree was an all around pro job and a very reasonable cost to get the trees chopped down and trimmed. Was easy to contact, and very quickly came out for a free estimate. Varo who did the estimate was extremely knowledgeable! He was able to clearly describe what needed to be done, what might be optional, and what to think about long term. He gave us advice on all the trees on our property (even the ones he was not working on). A team of 4 guys came out 48 hrs. later and did the job in a few hours. They were great to work with, answering all our questions and adjusting the job if we wanted something slightly different. When finished they cleaned up and hauled away every last scrap of wood and trimmings. If you want a great job, great price, experience, and great service, call this company ! I’ll be having them back for my next tree service.

After a series of unfortunate events, I ended up with a withered up tree in my front yard. The Charlie Brown tree (as I like to call it) had to go. I looked up several tree removal companies on Unilocal and Google and stumbled upon Chippers. I filled out an online inquiry form, which led to an email chain with Edgar. I finally ended up calling and the guys came out on a Saturday to remove my little tree stump. They were done in about 15 minutes and that unsightly tree was gone from my yard. My only suggestion would be to call rather than email because you can get an appointment quicker via phone.

Edgar at Chippers came on time, was easy to work with, emailed me the quote and most importantly, made me a really cool log bench for the back yard :)
I had a large American Elm in the front yard that needed to be taken down and another larger American Elm in the back that needed trimming and a cable. They completed both and got the stump ground out in about 4 hours with 7 guys working.
They were the lowest quote of the 3 companies that I had come out.
They also mulched my flower beds with the grindings from the stump!
