This occurred on February 1, 2016 at around 1:30 pm local time. The service was horrible and the food was mediocre. Normally, I would give this store a «3-star» rating. But what happened next was surreal — especially at a supposedly nice, fast-casual place in uptown Dallas. As I was exiting the double side doorway, the center steel beam in the store gave way. The steel beam wasn’t even soldered onto the frame! It just slipped right out. Part of it landed on my left foot — and if I wasn’t wearing decent shoes, I would literally be in the hospital right now. What’s more, I told the employees what happened(there were at least two lady witnesses who were walking into the store as I was exiting); one lady employee apologized but the manager did not even care to apologize. I am new to the area. I work two blocks away from this store and I would never set foot in this store ever again. Simply put, Chipotle does not care. E. coli aside, this latest episode just shows the lax attitude of management and store employees when it comes to the way they treat their customers. They only care about your pocket book and they do not care if you get sick from the food or literally drop dead at the store. I used to live in Los Angeles. I visited a tea place one time in east LA and the store got held up while I was there. In retrospect, that episode felt safer than visiting this store. This would be the last place I figured I would get physically hurt in a bad way — at a Chipotle store in uptown Dallas.

This Chipotle used to be the best in the Uptown area. In the last month or two, it must have gone under new management. TINY portions compared to any other Chipotle I’ve been to. Not even one full scoop of rice. It’s disappointing to get around half the food for the same price as other Chipotle’s. I’d go elsewhere.

Consistent Chipotle, even more so than expected from a franchise. Well run, quick service, lemons always stocked, clean tables with a good view to people watch especially on a Saturday. I go out of my way for a consistently good service and quality of fast food here.

We like Chipotle food and this location is within walking distance from where we live. Within the last couple of months the service has gotten horrible. Went in last night to order 2 sets of crunchy tacos togo. They could only find 3 shells and the person told me I would have to find something else to replace the second order and was rude about it. The time before when I order the same thing I got home and only had two tacos in each order. After last night we will not go back to this location.

Food was decent. Lunch for four and two of the orders were wrong. Chips were stale. People were nice!

Stopped by this location last night(8⁄19) to get my burrito bowl fix. I love their white rice and the man behind the counter informed me that they were currently out of white rice but were in the process of cooking more. I told him I didn’t mind waiting and was told it would be about 5 minutes. Cool. I can jack around on my phone for 5 minutes. I do it all day anyway. When I got to the cashier to pay for my burrito bowl, they completely comped my meal — and threw in a free drink and chips, too! They apologized repeatedly for the wait. Great group of people working here. I’ll continue to visit this location even though the parking lot is kinda tough to get in and out of when busy.

The food was really good! Good salsa & rice, meat quality, chips were bomb. But that attitude baby, ooo weeee that attitude. I got a double wrapped burrito, brown rice, half chicken half sofritas, everything except guac, chips & medium, with an uncalled for side of SHADE. People in food service need to remember that they work for us; & customer service & our money, is what basically pays them & gives them their money in return. The food was good, but the shade… not necessary. I’m not there to be your best friend I’m there cause I’m hungry. Roll my burrito up with a sincere smile on ya face & throw some manners in there too. But then again, it’s Uptown, so it’s not shocking/rare to have shade thrown at you. & fix that parking lot! It’s a HOTMESS. That’s all. I probably won’t return. Or if I do I’ll just wait in the car & send my boyfriend for my food. Cause that attitude honey; I cannot deal. Get it together Chipotle Uptown. You work for US.

I have never had a bad experience at a Chipotle bit I got there around 9:30 and close to closing time. Still open for 30 minutes more! But there is a sadistic cook(?) who was cleaning the grill and seemed to like the screaming sound while cleaning it. I have never had ears hurt so much as he continued to do it and look at the line. I hope you all can fix this or save it until after closing to clean. Thanks.

Poor poor service. Don’t give double meat when ordering double meat. In this case I ordered double chicken, overpaid and got about 1.5 chicken. Fifth time in a row this has occurred at this location.

I had originally posted a sub-par review about this Chipotle — and I think they listened! Ever since my not so hot experience, this Chipotle has really been raising its standards. The portions are GREAT, all the food is hot, and the meat tastes fresh with no grissle/burnt pieces. Even when it’s crowded at lunch hour in uptown, the upbeat employees seem to keep the line moving swiftly. Keep up the good work!

As much as I actually love the food at Chipotle, each time I’ve been to this Chipotle on McKinney Ave, I’ve had horrible customer service experiences. I used to order my food online for pickup, but realized each time that once I got home, the order was never right, even though the receipt showed the correct order. I’ve also noticed that they don’t give as much food when you order online. Whenever I am in the restaurant to place my order in line, something always seems to happen to where I leave dissatisfied. The other day, I paid with cash and the cashier realized that there was no change in the register. He left me at the register for over 10 minutes while he went to the back to get change. When he came back to the register, he asked me if I was ok with a horrible attitude. I told him that I would like my change so that I could leave, and he made a sly comment to himself and threw my change at me. I doubt I’ll ever return to this location due to my latest experience.

I just came back from this Chipotle and man… that was horrible. Don’t get me wrong, the food was great as usual, but the service was AWFUL. The lady who rang me up gave a disgusted look at my burrito bowl(nothing unusual, I just had them mix it because I tend to spill it on my clumsy self). She literally stuck her tongue out and then turned and told me my total. Um… sorry? I explained it tastes fine… She goes«Really?» with a scared laugh because I caught her blatant look. «Yes…it’s just the burrito bowl mixed…». How rude… Then I see her texting as I had to rush out… Honestly, that all really bothered me. I will probably take my business elsewhere due to a total lack of customer service. A shame.

This is the worst Chipotle I’ve ever been to. I live in Uptown and this is the 3rd time I’ve given this location a chance. The customer service is unprofessional at best. The staff are incredibly mannerless and incompetent. The least they could do is be courteous and acknowledge how rudely they treat customers. Also, the food does not hold up to the Chipotle standards. It isn’t as fresh and tastes stale. I am most upset about how rude the employees at this location are and I will not be back.

Obviously Chipotle is the best. But this one in particular has wonderful people too. I was having a pretty lousy day, the manager noticed and offered a complementary dinner. Such a nice gesture. Thank you, Manager. You are truly appreciated.

Service stinks — literally and figuratively. First visit, got attitude. Second visit, couldn’t find my online order. Who runs this gaggle of clowns?

This is so disappointing to write. I used to frequent this chipotle at least 3 times a week. The last four times I went here, the quality of the food was drastically different than ever before. The pico has evolved into a really unappetizing slush and the veggies are are always overlooked brown mush. Also, the veggie bowl has been completely empty and when I asked if they had any ready, they rather unapologetically said they could get some started now. None of these visits were late enough in the evening to warrant not making vegetables. My whole meal at chipotle surrounds around the veggies. I don’t understand not having all the options ready. Isn’t that the whole point of a place like this? The employees are just a totally different breed than they used to be.

I don’t recall ever having chipotle so after getting coaxed by my coworker and IT consultant last Friday I finally decided to try it for lunch and I am very glad I did. They were out of chicken so I decided to try the pork(I think carnitas) tacos. It was very very good. Better than the pork at some authentic Mexican restaurants. It was very well marinated in a mojo and rather lean. Much better than I was expecting though not on the well done side if that’s your thing. I tried it with the lime rice and Pico de gallo.

Chipotle Burrito Bowls have never disappointed me. until today. This location has poor quality ingredients. The lettuce was old. The girl that scooped the pico scooped way too much. All I tasted were tomatoes in my bowl. Parking is a clusterfk. I lucked out by nabbing a spot right in the front. The little lot next to it is small, and I have no clue how people get out of there. Such a disappointment because this is so close to home.

In all Chipotle I’ve been in my life, this is by far the worse in quality and especially customer service! I have to literally beg for more food and they can’t appreciate you as a customer. I normally don’t write reviews, but this place forced me to. It’s sad that a place like this can treat us so unprofessional.

The good food speaks for itself but coming here at 2pm at the end of the lunch rush was a bad call on my part. No forks, water dispenser broken and staff generally a bit dazed and apologetic. Give them a little time to reset and I’m sure they’ll be back to reliable Chipotle.
