Channel 8 Wfaa-Tv ABC

on Saturday morning you have the Humane Society which I watch faithfully. I was wondering if they should step in at the Glen Rose facility and rescue you a hero dog. I understand they are a kill facility and that dog should NOT be put down. Glen Rose is a long way off and that dog would stand a better chance of being adopted in the metroplex. I would but i am old, can’t drive out there.

Cynthia Izguirre is among the worst news casters, she needs to stick to the script and Read the news… not interested in her opinions. It is apparent Dale Hanson has no use for her too. Forcing me to tune to cbs…

This rating is for the complete waste of thirty minutes I just saw on Channel 8. THE JANEE SHOW is a narcisstic «victim in her own mind» ego-​fest, and should be removed from any future broadcasting. If all it takes is throwing a wedding gown on the ground and crying about your «horrible childhood», (and I laugh when I say that because her family seem like very nice people), then I need my own show because I’m having a bad hair day!!! W-​T-​Crap!!! Doesn’t your staff screen your shows any better than this??? This woman is a psycho!!! Investigate her a little better before you put her on the air, would ya?

This is the channel I watch for weather and local news.
The sports guy, Dale Hanson, is too into himself and is mostly fluff with little real info. So for sports news I go to ESPN. But the other TV personalities are attractive and endearing. Plus they are not ideological like Fox.

I have always loved Channel 8, but now that I live in Chicago I only now fully appreciate everything about this news station. The ABC station up here should take notes from WFAA.
The news and weather staff are not only funny, professional, and reliable, they are also very diverse — which I love.
To be honest, I love Steve McCauley. Like, loooooooooooove Steve. He’s so enthusiastic about the weather and when he gets in front of that green screen, he makes certain movements and mannerisms that absolutely crack me up. There are few things I love in this life more than watching him do the weather bit.
I also really love Macie Jepson, Gloria Campos, John McCaa, and Debbie Denmon. They are all total class acts who make the news very enjoyable to watch.
Apparently Troy Duncan has retired — I will miss your bowties.
Channel 8 also does stories and investigations that are actually important and relevant, as opposed to other stations who do ridiculous or scare-​tactic type of stories.
Nothing but love.

While I hate ABC’s programming, WFAA is easily the best local news channel in the city. They’re the most professional, and for the most part the least likely to run those rediculous scare pieces other channels run. Their weather team is the best and Dale Hansen doing sports is pretty awesome.

Out of the local network-​affiliated television stations I would have to say they are probably the best. They may have low standards but they aren’t as low as some of the others. I think this is one of the flagships of the Belo empire.
