Brian and his wife Brittany purchased Celebrity Café & Bakery in 2015. Since taking ownership, they have «refrosted» the brand with store makeovers, intense customer service training, upgraded bakery changes and other customer experience improvements.

We have been fans of Celebrity for years until now. We used to love going to the old location in Highland Park Village not only for the cozy and special atmosphere, but for the great food and desserts. Unfortunately, the new location has no special feel. The food is not nearly as good and I have had my orders mixed up or wrong numerous times. The quality too has disappeared. I continue to go back hoping that my experience will be different but I’m always let down. The staff is also not as friendly. I never write reviews and wouldn’t be writing this if my experience at the new Celebrity hasn’t been consistent. I hope something can be changed because I miss the old one.

I have loved Celebrity Bakery for over 10 years! I used to go to the Plano location all of the time when I lived in McKinney. I noticed that Celebrity Bakery was under construction one day while leaving my spin class, which made me very happy. I went in the other day and bought the green chicken enchiladas, Spanish rice, Peach Mango tea, and a rice Krispy treat. All lived up to how I remembered them. I will be back many times! So glad to see a Celebrity Bakery close to me.

Pretty much the main reason my sister and I would always come here was for the environment. Everything was pink, the place looked edible, and the winding staircase looked like frosting. It was special. Maybe if I crave hibiscus tea I’ll come back, but probably not:(I can get good tea cakes and cookies anywhere. We miss the old location very much…

The worst service! Also under new management. With this service it explains why they couldn’t make it in highland park village. They put buttercream on my red velvet when I asked for cream cheese. Would not change my cake and I had already purchased it. Will never go back.
