A funky house with the requisite nursery offerings from plants, to pottery to cute knick knacks — Bromley Gardens is the Bishop Arts answer.(Dirt — in the center is the more expensive place for flowers and indoor décor.) Plants are well priced here with the green house having a good choice of succulents and other things in the $ 2.99−5.99 range. Pottery averaged higher with simple terra cotta pots going for $ 3 and colored ceramic ones starting closer to $ 15. I scored a pencil cactus with orange tips, and a large wild prehistoric succulent and two pots for $ 14. Selection was limited, but I thought that most of the prices were better than average.

Hot damn I love this place! What a gem right in the heart of Oak Cliff! They had a spring garden party the day I arrived with a puppy adoption event and a major sale! This visit was actually early for the season planting… but these guys were PACKED full of choices. It’s been a long hard winter and everyone is excited about getting some living beauty back in their yards! They have containers, a large variety of them… a greenhouse in back with all kinds of stuff. The location is the smaller of their two, but I didn’t feel like they missed anything. Best part is that everyone working here is awesome. I’ve been to places where they have a stick up their ass and you should feel privileged shopping there… not here. Everyone was very helpful, even with carrying things to my car. I found the prices to be very good here and such a great selection of plants, flowers and tree’s to chose from. I’ll be sure to make this a local shopping place for my garden needs. I suggest friending them on FB so you know when their sales are, especially the 50% off once or twice a year.
