Wow. Bobby is amazing! I am very impressed. He is one of the few stylists that I have had, where I walked out of the salon loving my hair. Usually, I have to go home and style it myself. Well, not this time. He spent so much time with me and wants you to have the cut you want! And, he is confident he can give it to you. So awesome! He used to be a teacher in beauty school and you can tell with how clean his cut and technique is. I found my new salonist! Am so appreciative! Thank you Bobby!

He has all the experience, skills, and most important, the ability to tailor the hairstyle you want to your features of the face so the overall style actually looks great and natural on you! He loves what he does! If you ask him, he will also recommend what’s best for your hair and how to take care of it and give it the best look in between the visits.

After moving from shop to shop with varied results that were usually lackluster I came to Bobby. He has vision, the skills to fulfill, and he seems to know what I want which makes the experience that much better. Not to mention how likable he is. Every time, I get quality I can count on. Tucked away at the insanely clean Studio40, Bobby York is working miracles. Bobby’s an incredible stylist and great person. He really listens to clients and is METICULOUS about achieving the right style and color. He’s also great about incorporating your lifestyle with your hairstyle. Some of us are not as apt to spend hours on our hair, and Bobby knows what will work for people. I know we’re all picky about our hair, but I have been known to go for 3 years without a cut from fear, but I trust Bobby implicitly. His services are also a great value for the Dallas area, but he is such a genius, I would pay twice as much to have him as my stylist. I’m so grateful to have found my hair savior!

Bobby takes the time to understand what you want and translate it into what is possible! He’s a perfectionist when it comes to the color and cut! He really cares about how you look and feel when you leave.

AMAZING! Bobby is my go-​to stylist and colorist. I moved from California and never thought I’d find anyone that would tend to my problem hair. I have two cow licks on my bangs and three in the back. I had three bad experiences in Texas until I found Bobby. Bobby’s knowledge and skill set are exceptional. He is very patient and explains every technique he uses. I’ve finally found a stylist that knows how to cut my hair and give me the look I want. My hair has a mind of it’s own — some days it wants to be wavy and other days it wants to be unruly. I like my hair to be completely low maintenance too which creates a challenge. Bobby worked his magic and knew exactly what to do and gave me the cut I’ve been wanting/​needing. He also has great inferencing skills which is something I look for in a hair dresser because I am the worst at describing hair. Bobby is personable, fun to talk to, has a great eye, and really loves his work. His private studio space is perfect too. You don’t have to deal with any other on lookers — it’s just you and Bobby. I can’t say enough good things about my Studio40 experience. I highly recommend it.

I love Bobby! I followed him from his old salon to his studio. He’s a really sweet guy and gives a really great cut– as well as color! I always try to schedule my appointments before a Saturday night event because I know my hair will look awesome after just being styled by Bobby :) He’s thorough and great to catch up with every time I go– like an old friend! Oh, and he has great taste in music so you can listen to sweet jamz as you get styled.

Bobby York is one of the best stylists you will ever find in Dallas. Bobby is brilliant with scissors and any style you want to achieve. Short or long, curly or straight, male or female — he can do anything you want which brings me to his other best quality. Bobby York is the most down-​to-​earth person and treats everybody with equal time and respect — you would think you we’re a high-​end model. He will bend over backwards to meet your schedule. Bobby will never, ever try to push you to buy hair products but keep in mind his knowledge of hair products to help you is amazing.
Best of all, I love the intimacy of his new studio and I don’t have to deal with the drama in loud, raucous salons. At the end of a day or on a weekend, I want to relax when I go to get my hair cut. He puts on the music you want (and serves a great glass of wine) and then he does his «magic».
