We are a Dallas criminal defense law firm who handles felonies and misdemeanors throughout North Texas, including DWI’s, drug charges, assault, burglary, and murder. Also, we seal criminal records with orders of nondisclosure, and provide expunction services. We have an attorney bail bondsman on staff, and can post attorney bail bonds. We handle traffic tickets and remove arrest warrants on traffic ticket cases.

Berlof & Newton, P.C. formed in 2001, as the result of a partnership between Darrin Berlof and Everett, both of whom had owned and operated their own solo practice law firms for a number of years.

Business Owner

Everett Newton has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of North Texas, as well as a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston School of Law. He is a member of a number of professional organizations, including the Dallas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the State Bar of Texas, as well as the Dallas Municipal Justice Bar Association, of which he is a past president.
