After building a successful international marketing business, Teresa was asked to consult with a friend and former business associate regarding the merchant services industry. It was not long before Teresa uncovered the reality that most business owners were dissatisfied with their services and often taken advantage of by the thousands of merchant service providers across the country. Out of these thousands, not one of the merchant service providers was offering products, services, marketing tools, training, or technical support to help business owners build their business and increase their profits. Instead, the thousands of merchant service providers still in existence today use unethical selling tactics to lure in business owners, which makes complaints and contract cancellations commonplace. Teresa immediately recognized the need for a new approach in the industry, and Avant-Garde Marketing Solutions was formed.
