Forget everything you know about hospital food. This place makes salads that absolutely rock. I had a steak and asparagus salad that had all fresh vegetables crumbles of blue cheese in a red pepper corn salad dressing that literally knocked my socks off. And I couldn’t help myself but to try the macadamia nut chocolate cookie, which was warm yummy soft all the things you want with the nutty texture of the macadamia nut and the chocolate everything was great. The cost of a cookie a salad bottle of water bottle of Diet Coke was $ 18, so not your most reasonable fair. The staff were friendly helpful even with the odd layout you were able to get through what you needed very quickly. The restaurant was clean and there’s plenty of seating in the atrium just outside of it. So next time you’re visiting someone at medical city, enjoy a quick salad well worth the visit.

My usual deli closed and I was forced to find other means to eat lunch and someone directed me here to the hospital, WHAT?(building D, lobby) WHY did I not know this was here, right under my nose. I would have eaten a thousand sandwiches from here by now. LOVELOVELOVE the sandwiches. They also have soup, salad, cookies breakfast, healthy drinks. Check it out when you are in or around the hospital. If not, find another location and try it. So good. I’m impressed. Today I ate the Caprese on baguette tomatoes, basil, fresh mozzarella & basil pesto with chicken. Wow! lots of pesto and super fresh mozzarella! Yesterday I ate the turkey and Swiss on multi-grain baguette with honey pecan cream cheese. YUMMY! The ladies are very nice as well.
