I’ve been going to see him for about 6 years now and even with me living in Rockwall now I still make the trip. He’s a genuine, all around good dude. Doesn’t try and push a particular brand of contacts or anything on you. Anyway, as a random internet person you don’t know, I recommend him.

Nice offices, nice staff… Very informative… I would certainly recommend them. Convenient in North Park Mall next to Macy’s.

I’m going to give this review 4 stars instead of a three because the staff was great and Dr. McLean was fantastic. However, when my husband and I went in to pick up our finished glasses, his were obviously not correct. The lenses were made correctly according to the prescription, but there was some disconnect somewhere between the exam and the written prescription. I have worked for a very busy optometrists office so I know this happens. What is not acceptable is when the doctor tells you there is just no way to squeeze you in for a recheck. It doesn’t matter if this doctor isn’t the same as the original that performed the exam, if a mistake was made by the office, it should be rectified the moment it was discovered. Now he has to wait an entire week before trying to come in just for a recheck, and then the optical dept will have to resubmit the order with the correct prescription, and wait yet another week to pick them (and hopefully they are correct this time).

My optometrist is here: Dr Kim McLean. She’s the best eye doctor in town! I’ve followed her and can’t recommend her more highly. Glad she is in this nice office at Northpark so I can shop after my eye checkup!

They were amazing. The team here worked with me to conveniently get me in, and I was thrilled with the Dr.‘s interaction with me.
I would gladly recommend this office to anyone needing a quality exam.

Dr. Chapman and his entire staff are both exceptional. Not only are they very thorough, he spends all the time it takes to get you the best prescription for your eyes. He asks questions and gives the patient an opportunity to ask questions. Nothing about the appointment will make you feel rushed. Excellent service and care — a rarity it seems. Outstanding.

I’m not originally from Dallas and so I’ve put off getting my eyes checked because eye exams can get expensive and sometimes doctors do a lazy job. Dr. Chapman was amazing! I didn’t wait at all and he spent a good 25 minutes checking my eyes. The first pair of contacts he had me try on weren’t giving me ²⁰⁄₂₀ so he re-​checked my eyes and suggested that I go ahead and spring for the contacts that correct for an astigmatism. He was incredibly thorough, really interesting to talk to and didn’t try to trick me into getting my eyes dilated or any of the other Optometrist scams that end up slapping you with a huge bill you never saw coming… especially because you came in with crappy vision already.
I paid $ 125 for both the glasses and contacts prescriptions. And I finally have that ²⁰⁄₂₀!

Dr Chapman is great. Explains everything clearly, doesn’t rush you and he even fit me in when I had pinkeye. Thanks Doc!!! I recommend you to all my friends and fellow Unilocalers!

It was my first visit for a comprehensive eye exam so I was hesitant to say the least. The staff was extremely helpful in all the paperwork that needed to be done before the appointment. I was even taken in a few minutes early. I had been having some issues with my eyes so I needed to have an exam so my SO uses this doctor and has been very happy with him. Dr. Anthony Chapman was very friendly and explained the entire process about what they would be doing and he was just great. I had a wonderful experience and I look forward to going back at least annually to insure that my eyes are remaining healthy for a long time.
