I flew in from NRT on a business class international flight– the staff at the check-in were not friendly at all and could definitely use some lessons in customer service. There are many other lounges that have much better service, complimentary food/alcoholic beverage selection, and overall décor at the same class of air travel. You get one drink ticket here as opposed to complimentary alcoholic beverages at other lounges. This is not the most comfortable lounge and the sound carries a lot. There aren’t many quiet spots and you are at the mercy of your fellow lounge members, unless you book yourself a conference room. Being in here felt more like being in a smaller airport than a relaxing lounge. I have experienced better.

I’m lucky enough to have experienced a good number of Admirals Club lounges over the years. The ones at DFW are quite nice. Obviously, lots of room to move around, find a chair that’s useful for a snort nap, free amenities like AYCE sodas /nuts /pastries /soup /fruit. I like the smell of the lotion they offer in the ladies’ rooms. I don’t think they are open 24 hours, but are a great respite for long layovers or if you are stuck here due to delays or bad weather. Don’t forget to utilize the staff if you are encountering problems with flights — they can often assist.

I was shocked by how rude one of the employees was as I was attempting to enter the club. In short, I was told by multiple people that my first class ticket would grant me access over a long layover(it does with United, Alaska, Delta) but for some reason, flying from PDX to Jamaica didn’t qualify. Even if that was the case and two other people were wrong, she was flippant, rude, and unwilling to determine a solution or even pretend to be sympathetic. What’s worse, when I asked to speak with a supervisor, she called her boss and apologized to her boss that«this guy» wanted to talk to her! For a customer who paid 3x the price of an economy ticket and has 6 flights booked next month with American, I’d expect to be treated with a bit of kindness and appreciation. Further, she didn’t apologize at any point and instead giggled and laughed at her colleagues pictures on her phone. The entry of the club looked nice enough, but if you’re expecting a professional, accommodating and friendly experience, I’d suggest a different club.

American has stepped up their game with renovations to most of the Admirals Clubs, Cannot wait to see the new main lounge in PHX. The little ones are covering nicely for now. This refuge from the craziness of airports lets me be productive during the business travel day and also enjoy a cocktail when traveling at night. The food in most of the clubs is great. If you are a frequent traveller you simply must join!

Very relaxing and comfortable place to stay during your layover in Terminal A with: showers, fitness center, business center, quiet zone, smoking lounge and bar area. A nice variety of snacks and drinks are available(even two kinds of hot soup). Wifi seems to work well. Chairs are comfortable and there is a lot of space. There are several good options for restaurants near by. High ceilings help the open and roomy ambiance. There a variety of art pieces on the walls spread throughout the club. Not much to complain about. The cost is on the high side for membership but if you travel with AA enough it is worth it. There are credit card options and I believe you can use miles to cover the cost.

The Admirals Club at terminal A in DFW is not quite as nice as the one in terminal D but it does have more amenities than most of the clubs around the world. This place is fully loaded with a bar, showers, food, seating, lounges, family areas, fitness areas and many more things to make your journey more pleasant. Overall, the Admirals Club is never a bad choice if you frequent American Airlines. Pros– Food Bar Amenities Spacious Cleanliness Service Cons– All the way near gate 22 Food selection can be average

Nice club away from the hustle and bustle of the terminal. Of all the Admiral’s clubs at DFW, I think this one is probably my favorite, it tends to be quiet and the restrooms aren’t very crowded. Definitely better than waiting at the gate!

Actually though almost all of these clubs are clean — thi sone was one of the cleanest — same olé same olé inside, but oh man is it so much better inside then in the main terminals. Coffee and tea nice and free — drinks are limited but also free — staff was awesome and very kind. Nice little getaway!

Nice large lounge, but except for coffee and tea, soft drinks, biscuits, soup and snack, you get a free alcoholic drink but have to pay for the rest. WiFi is free. The lounges for Cathay, Qantas, British Airways, Singapore Airlines etc offer a much larger range of free food and alcohol for the same class of air travel.

Wow — I can only imagine that the Admirals Club in Terminal A at DFW is what flying was all about back in the glory days. Walking into the Admirals Club here is so much more than the cushy seat, stale snack mix, and slow WiFi that you get at so many other USAir and Admirals Clubs around the country. This club is well decorated and has all the amenities and plenty of space — multiple seating areas, work areas, an enclosed children’s play room, plenty of showers, a small workout room with an elliptical and treadmill. And, of course, the bar. They even had delicious complimentary soup. If you find yourself in DFW for any amount of time, this club is worth the cost of a daypass.

I’ve been to several admirals club while traveling however this one is probably the largest. They have several areas to sit at. Some peaceful and some near televisions. Then there is a back area that has a large sitting area with a huge protector type television for things like watching a major sporting event. It has less comfortable chairs but tons of small bites and refreshing drinks. They have a small menu of food to order. I like that they are conveniently located in the middle of the gates and it was easy to find.

I love being treated like an important person. It’s good for my ego… Thank you Admirals Club for making my pre-board much better.
