A hidden jem, little mom & pop restaurant in a little strip mall that you would normally drive right by and not think twice, but it is one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve ever been to. Carry out or eat in, but most of their business is carry out it seems. The wonton soup, and pork dumplings are awesome, legit for sure! Priced right too! Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed! Enjoy!!!

This place has some delicious food. In addition to that, the portions are enormous, the prices are low, and the lady at the cashier, who also answers the phone, is the sweetest lady on the planet. Don’t let the location and surroundings fool you or detour you, this place is legit. Definitely recommend.

Proprietors were nicest people ever and portions were huge. My problem lies in the fact that the bag that held my spicy chicken was swimming in orange grease by the time I got home and the most prevalent vegetables were canned peas and carrots assisted by some onion and a few very shriveled snow peas. That is NOT the way freshly made Chinese food should be — in the Barrio or not.

Super super cheap and a lot of food for your money! There was only one lady working in there when I came to pick up my food, but she was very friendly. They had my food ready for me in 10 minutes so by the time I picked it up it was ready to go. I got the veggie lo mein and it was good! Even better leftover. I’m making this one portion(that was only $ 6 might I add) into 3 meals! I’ll be going back.

For the price, this place is amazing! First I have to admit, I’ve never gotten anything other than the egg drop soup and chicken fried rice. However, it’s good. It’s less than $ 9 to get both on one ticket, and it’ll all last me two nights. Their portions are very large. This is my new goto place for inexpensive Chinese food.

I love going here because it’s darn good, cheap, and fresh. Steam dumplings are just right, soup is piping hot, beef dinners are just the right flavor not skimming on the beef either. Highly recommend take out from this hole in the wall.

Been going here since I discovered it. Everything is fresh delicious and has a unique flavor. Most of all the price is great. I could not ask any more from this place. I ordered for family visiting one night and everyone loved everything with zero complaints!

The service was good and the food came out fast but the sesame chicken was not very good and the rice tasted like someone was blowing cigarette smoke all over it. I did enjoy the pork fried rice after I had it in the fridge over night. The taste was not in that batch. I would not recommend eating here. If the food matched the customer service this place would be awesome!

Old Chinese man in this hole in the wall Chinese joint. He runs the front, cooks in the back, takes calls, he does it all. Food is good. Prices are good. And he always throws something extra when I bring the kids.

Good food! Good service! GREAT price! It can’t be beat! I think anything on the menu sounds amazing… especially the chicken side! I ended up deciding on the curry chicken! and I am going to have to fight myself to choose something different the next time!

The food at A Wok is always good and cooked when you order it. The owner has another restaurant called King’s Express, which I’ve heard has food of equal quality and value for your dollar. We’re always pleased when we get Chinese from A Wok!
