One of the nicer 7 – 11’s !! Store is kept extremely clean and the staff are always friendly. They have the same stuff as every 7 – 11 but much more space. This place tends to get packed on weekends, especially after club hours, but there never really a crowd any other time.

Having visited this location many time over the last three years, it’s well organized and fully stick with fresh and hot food selections. It is the nearest location to the 7-Eleven Corporate Headquarters, the store supports the entire building and the breakfast, lunch and dinner options are always fresh. They will be test items at this location that you will not see at others spots. The coffee bar is always fresh and plenty of options with a brewing machine unique to this locations. There is no fuel at this location and it’s not easy to get to off the freeway. It’s really an uptown locations.

Driving from Houston to Dallas one weekend. Stopped here on the way to my hotel; I needed to make a pit stop and use the lady’s room badly. I had to drive over a mile from the interstate, but it was worth it. From the customers milling around in front, things did not look promising in regards to bathroom cleanliness. Boy was I pleasantly surprised! The store was well lit and organized. The bathroom was amazingly tidy(for a 7 eleven). There was even some attempt at decoration(plant and painting).

I like to finish off my meals with coffee. Strong, small, and bitter, espresso generally satisfies the craving. But I know many others who settle for cappucinos, lattes, and the like. Imagine my disappointment when neither the uppity restaurant nor theatre venue in the Dallas Arts District had an espresso machine. When the staff at the theatre told me to look for espresso at 7 Eleven, I thought they were pulling a fast one. With twenty minutes before the curtain, I took off on foot to the nearest coffee house, but stopped in my tracks when I noticed a coffee bean counter feeding into a machine at the 7 Eleven on Routh St. I walked inside and, sure enough, the friendly staff gave me a walk-through on a very interesting machine that pulls espresso shots and dispenses fresh milk to your liking. Open late in the midst of a coffee-dead city, 7 Eleven has, oddly enough, shot up on my list of favorite places to swing by, grab a coffee, and chat with a friend.

This location is right at the base of 7-Eleven’s corporate head-quarters, so it gets alot of attention and always has the latest stuff. Amazingly, its not 24⁄7 at the moment, as this area is absolutely dead after about 6pm everyday. The staff are well-trained, friendly and efficient, and super-clean. Down-side is that it is a really small store and doesn’t have a very wide selection of beer.
