History
Established in 2012.
Scott Gordon started SG Kiteboarding on the East Coast in 2012, and has been traveling to Kitesurf and teach all over the world since 2006. Scott was certified by the top instructor of the PASA Kiteboarding association, and immediately saw a need for more professional lessons in every region he traveled to. Seeing a need for Safe Real world lesson in all of these places where kiteboarding is popular he now has brought his company to the West Coast to promote responsible safe lessons.
There are many companies that use certified instructors, or take clients out on Jet skis for beginner lessons, which is extremely dangerous.
Meet the Business Owner
Scott G.
Business Owner
Scott has been Kitesurfing since 2006, traveling to Hawaii, Costa Rica, Northern & Southern California, Puerto Rico, and all over the East coast. He is self taught, and originally was teaching instruction before getting certified years ago. Since his Training as an instructor it became very clear that there are many many instructors out there without the proper training, and businesses taking advantage of clients who do not fully understand the sport. Now bringing the business from the East Coast, Scott wants to continue his kitesurfing career and continue to spread the sport of kitesurfing responsibly and safely.
With his company, he only trains beginner kiteboarders in the same areas they will learn in as beginners, This is the key to true progression and keeping preventable disasters from happening.
