Meridian

Meridian has lots and lots and lots of things you can buy for yourself or as gifts. Give yourself an hour or more. The store just opened Nov 2012 and is very nicely organized into two main sections: 1) clothing and jewelry and 2) home décor. The store is middle to upper crust so adds more and extra «fancy» to Dade City, especially with its pink and green ribbon signature gift wrapping. It does cater to local clientele (high school pirate football team wear and memorabilia), the prices are pretty reasonable and it has clothing from the line of local designer Tracy Negoshian line so it gets my vote. Also, it is a small business run by 4 women so another vote given there. There seems to be a theme throughout the store with deer antlers– didn’t ask about that, but a dark brown cast iron stag deer made it into my home last night. As did a new christmas ornament, a pewter cake platter, a set of $ 25 earrings and a bird themed watering can. I am probably dreaming but someday I might go back and get the beautiful purple $ 56 Lenora Dame earrings and the huge silver entryway pedestal bowl and maybe an awesome bracelet. Get your serving trays, large size candlesticks, frilly keychains, designer scarves, hand towels, serving spoons, antler purse/​coat racks, silver baby rattles, burp cloths, studded dog collars, nightgowns and style at Meridian– whose tagline is «where all things come together».
