Sensai Chris is awesome. He is a young guy who really enjoys teaching kids. He knows how to keep them engaged (can be challenging with my 6 yo and 5 yo at times). He runs a strict dojo in that he does not allow the kids to get too crazy or wild and puts them in check when needed.
I love that my kids are learning respect and discipline and how to handle their bodies. They learn the practice of karate but they also do calisthenics and exercise and box every week.
It is pricey, especially with two kids but they get to go four times per week and have private lessons occasionally as well.
My kids love it!

This is an excellent Dojo! We initially brought my son here because he is fascinated with martial arts and he thinks he is a Ninja Turtle, then my daughter immediately wanted to join as well. My kids are hooked! They love it! They’ve already made it clear that Kung Fu is their first choice amongst all their activities. The instructors here are excellent in getting the kids engaged and having a fun & structured learning environment. Sensei Chris and Sensei Cass are on top of their game for sure. My kids are proud to be a part of the Z Family. If you are looking to enroll your kids into martial arts, this is the only place to come to.

Nick is great with kids. My child loves going there. I’ve seen improvement in my child’s skills.
I would have given 4 – 5 stars if Nick knew how to handle parent complaints. I have spoken to him several times about some issues and it looks like he never does anything about it. There is no follow through or any reassurance that the issues will be handled. As a parent, it leaves me very frustrated. I end up finding a way around the problem on my own.

Our Green Belt Triplets (yes, Triplets — this is not a typo) have been with this studio and Sensi Nick for 4 years. I checked out other studios in the area before choosing this studio. I again, checked out other studios in 2010 when our contract was up for renewal and found nothing that came close to the complete package offered by z Ultimate. We’re do for renewal again soon and I’m very happy to say the decision to renew with Z Ultimate and Sensi Nick is a Definite YES.

It is great for kids!!! Sensei Nick is patient and a great teacher. My 5 year old is a lot more focused and it has helped his behavior in school as well. Plus, he loves going to class. I highly recommend this dojo and Sensei Nick!!!
