Located in the prestigious Cy-Fair School District, Windsor Cypress is convenient to shopping, dining and entertainment and yet still retains the peace and tranquility of suburban life in Cypress, Texas.
This property has gone downhill in the last year. The gates NEVER work, there are always beer cans and trash littering the property, and the office staff is HORRID. Shamika is by far the worst staff member but none of them care about the property or any type of resident retention. I LOL at the review by Mason G– obviously fake, probably Shamika, because I guarantee you that issues are not resolved the next day… unless you count duct tape as fixing an issue. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It is overpriced for what you get, located in an area of town that has obviously passed its prime, and the office staff will make you wish you had never heard of Windsor Cypress.

I would give these apartments a negative infinity if I could. I lived there from June 2011 to June 2013. My lease was up and I was not going to renew. I informed management(Carmen Mendez) and provided written notice stating that I would not be going into a new lease. Thinking all was fine I moved out as scheduled. Months later I get a bill for one months rent at market rate with the reason being that I did not give notice to vacate. I called the apartments over and over trying to speak to Carmen but the leasing agents would always say she was busy or off the property. I went to the property several times only to be told that Carmen was not there and that the leasing agents could not help me with my issue. Finally, I reached out to Hills Properties(corporate) and at first Amber Grey was really nice and tried to figure out what happened but finally informed me that Carmen no longer worked for the company and it was my word against hers and since they could not speak with her I was SOL basically. Apparently, they could not locate my notice even though I emailed it AND provided a hard copy. No one ever helped me with this issue and it is so wrong because I gave notice and now I have this blemish on my rental history due to no fault of my own! Numerous calls to corporate have been unreturned since last speaking with Amber Grey. This is NOT how you do business HILLSPROPERTIES and I would suggest that no one ever rent from a place that charges tenants for things that they should not owe! Incompetence at its finest.
