Stopped in this morning to fill up my gas tank and my belly. When the stripes near my old house in Richmond opened up, we tried the breakfast tacos and were basically sick afterwards. I mean they were just so greasy and gross! So, I was a little leery about trying them again, but I saw some decent reviews of the tacos from this location, so I gave it a shot. And truthfully, there wasn’t much bacon in my bec taco, but it was still pretty dang tasty! They have a condiment and fruit bar, drinks galore, and lots of options for coffee cream and sweeteners(which I love). I opted for the Caramel Machiatto and it was really good. Also, I bought a car wash and got a discount on my gas, which is a nice perk even though lots of gas stations have started in on this trend. Heads up, this car wash is not a touch-free car wash, in case that’s what you’re looking for.

Tacos used to be good and for the price. I bought bacon and egg tacos and really just received eggs. There was no bacon. Also, the tortilla was still uncooked and raw. Disgusting and disappointed.

Ok these tacos are awesome! I’m a taco snob, being from San Antonio, and these have homemade tortillas which to me are the most important part of any taco. They have that magic floury/grainy texture! They do chop up the bacon and mix it with the scrambled eggs but they are fresh and soft and perfect. They have tons of options for add ins like beans, potatoes(w/spice on them and they look like they have a crunchy shell w/skins too so I will try those next time!), cheeses, chorizo, and green & red salsa plus lots of pico & cilantro. They have typical gas station food like sausage biscuits and popcorn chicken but they do have churros but unfortunately filled. Big drawback is they only serve breakfast tacos in the morning so I might not be here as much as I’d like but it’s so close by; maybe. Certainly better and cheaper than taco c and much closer than Texas taco down at hwy 6 for me. They were super nice too!

As far as gas stations go this one is pretty dang nice. It just opened up at the entrance of my neighborhood so it’s super convenient(even though there’s another one on the other side of my entrance…) I came here today with my dad who wanted some tacos. He’s kind of a taco stand connoisseur so he gets tacos from here pretty regularly. I was skeptical to say the least: «Dad, will this give me indigestion?» But I have to say that the tacos were great! My dad got the fajita, I got one with barbacoa and added salsas at the condiment bar. It’s super cheap, super authentic, and I feel alright afterward. Will definitely stop by here again to get tacos!
