The Rhapsody Piano Studio was founded in order to offer quality, innovative piano lessons to beginners and students of all levels.

Meet the Business Owner

Warren and Kate L.

Business Owner

The Rhapsody Piano Studio is owned and operated by husband and wife Warren Lee and Kate Lin.

They met during their college years at California State University of Long Beach and graduated with Masters degrees in Piano Performance. During college Warren won the music department’s instrumental concerto competition, which resulted in a performance of the Prokofiev Concert No. 1 with the Bob Cole Conservatory at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center. He also had the privilege of performing the same concerto with the Torrance Symphony Orchestra.

While Kate went on to pursue an additional performance degree from USC, Warren focused on founding and building the Rhapsody Piano Studio while improving as a teacher and musician. Kate is an active accompanist and performer, working with 2 Southern California choirs and as staff collaborative accompanist at Irvine Valley College.

They both absolutely love to teach and bring awesomeness to each lesson.

After being inspired by Ms. Lin’s virtuosic compelling performance, I approached her because I wanted to enhance my piano playing.
Ms. Lin helped me by catering to my specific needs as an amateur piano student, in which she supported me by understanding my ultimate passion for music.
The result was a gratifying experience because I now have an improved and effective piano practice technique that I never once had. More than that, I can manage skills that were never once acquired before, such as sight reading piano music in an effective manner.
One specific item I liked and enjoyed about Ms. Lin’s teaching was her unique approach in utilizing a variety of technique for students. She is a promising teacher who never limits piano playing to one style.
I found the experience rewarding and heartwarming — as a student and as a friend.
I would recommend Ms. Lin to anyone who wants to begin a joyous piano journey. Whether you’re an amateur piano student just like me, or a serious pianist in the making, Ms. Lin will be the one and only piano teacher and friend you’ll remember a lifetime.
